Listening to Man Down reminded me of this great video of a radio segment Rihanna did in Australia around 2012. It still makes me laugh.

Just listened to this album in full whilst on a walk this morning.
Every song sounds like a smash even now and it goes OFF such an album. I’d only rank Rated R above this in terms of her discography for me. Reminiscing now about just how everywhere she was during the release of this album and the impact the album has had even to this day is undeniable, in terms of UK/Europe I’d say this is her imperial phase the Loud campaign / lead up to TTT / We Found Love she was everywhere. I wonder if she’ll ever release music like this ever again or if her dance pop days are done. |
