5.5m is pretty good for an awards show these days I'd say. Pretty sure that's more than last year's BRIT Awards.

It's not too bad considering the general decline of TV ratings. It probably should have done a bit better though considering the lack of competition on other channels.

Yey, great to see CBB increase so much! VERY impressive consolidated ratings for Lip Sync Battle UK too, Channel 5 could have an actual hit on their hands.
Shocked at the SHIELD ratings, it's got more than it was getting for the last series when it was on Channel 4 and it actually was the second highest rating multichannel show behind the football. |

Great for Lip Sync Battle and CBB!
Also fantastic for 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'. It's such a special show, in that it's really finding it's feet and has been very consistent in it's quality. Glad to see it's paying off! |

The 28-Day data for Christmas Week has been revealed. These are the Top 10 Christmas Day programmes based on that info (in brackets are the 7-day and overnight data positions):
01. (01) (01) 10.78m Downton Abbey 02. (03) (06) 10.13m Call the Midwife 03. (04) (04) 10.04m Stick Man 04. (02) (03) 9.80m Mrs Brown's Boys 05. (05) (02) 8.77m Strictly Come Dancing 06. (06) (07) 7.97m Doctor Who 07. (07) (08) 7.82m Eastenders 08. (08) (09) 7.12m Coronation Street 09. (09) (05) 6.37m Queen's Speech (BBC) 10. (10) (10) 6.34m Brave So Call the Midwife has jumped from 5.8m in the overnights to 10.1m - a huge 4.3m (matching Downton Abbey too).  Stickman is up 3.6m, Mrs Brown's Boys is up 3.4m, Strictly is up 2.3m, Doctor Who is up 2.2m, Eastenders is up 2.1m, Corrie is up 1.5m, Brave is up 880k and Queen's Speech is up 300k.Outside of Christmas Day but within Christmas Week, Boxing Day's And Then There Were None has moved 6.01m -> 8.61m -> 9.56m (up 3.6m in total); the Sunday episode has moved 5.14m -> 7.68m -> 8.45m (up 3.4m); Luther has moved 4.77 -> 6.52m -> 7.64m (up 2.8m); and Boxing Day's Dickensian has moved 4.34m -> 6.52m -> 7.17m (up 2.9m). That may be a little tl;dr but there's some interesting boosts there. |

CBB has been doing very well. I think some episodes have even been up on last year which is a pretty amazing achievement since last year was the highest rating Channel 5 series yet.
