Dubtrack is between 1/5th and 1/3rd (at the very most) of the entrants, many of whom aren't in the semi they're voting on. Those results could well be completely wrong.

I think it's more of the fact that it's big room and that usually gets passed off as "generic" (not that I don't approve)
But yeah, I echo that it's not everything. I mean, "Savages" and "You Settle Me" got the same lukewarm reaction in their respective listenthroughs and the former went top 5 compared to my DNQ. We do need Seven though. |

Sure, I know that it's only a prediction and I have nothing against yours, I'm just trying to crack the BJSC code (with little success). My taste is a bit different from the masses (I know that I'm not alone), so in many cases I still can't see what makes a track a surefire qualifier/potential top 10 - this is what I'm trying to figure out, so at least I'll be able to do a proper prediction in like 2 years.
Hate is not bad btw, my most hated entry got me my best result so far (although it was in UP, not here)

The BJSC code is so unbreakable that the people who design encryption software and safes want to use it.
There's no rule of thumb to what does well in this contest as every contest is completely different. Different nations, different songs, different moods, different weather the whole nine yards. That's why my rule of thumb is to enter what you're loving most. Chasing success is pointless, desperate and only ends in heartbreak. It means more when its with something you love rather than something you sent because it sounds like a BJSC hit. |

 Semi 2 is completely unpredictable I think, it's such a mixed bag the votes will be all over the place and probably very close for the DNQ's to qualify. |

 I really kinda doubt I'll qualify this time. The Dubtrack session results were marmite at 5/5 (I believe it was the only marmite one in terms of dubs), so I'm glad some people like it at least but I kinda have a bad feeling about this one...
