BuzzJack Music Forum _ Britney Spears _ Britney Spears Bum-Rushed Onstage Concert, Fears Gun

Posted by: Tyler 10th August 2017, 04:00 PM

Britney Spears got bum-rushed by a guy who is probably hurting this morning, because her dancers and bodyguards annihilated him.

It went down Wednesday night in Vegas at Britney's Piece of Me show at Planet Hollywood. As Britney sang "Till the World Ends" ...  a man crept onto the stage and made his move.

Security and the dancers lunged at the guy as Britney seemed oblivious to the danger. You hear her ask if everything is OK. Check it out ... Britney's knee buckled as she clutched a security guard and asked, "He's got a gun?".

WTF I WILL HUNT HIM DOWN

She went on to finish the show and close with 'Till The World Ends''. Surprisingly. What a pro, I wouldn't have... especially with her anxiety.

Did he actually have a gun, or did she just say that due to freaking out?

"The man (who did not have a gun) struggled with security, even kicking a member of the force as he executed a cartwheel. Muscular members of her dance squad gathered to subdue the man until more security guards arrived, at which point the intruder was restrained and escorted offstage to chants of “A–hole! from the crowd. Before he was ejected from the theater, the man succeeded in kneeing one of the guards."

Apparently he was holding something that made it appear to be a firearm?

I mean I wouldn't call it overreacting? I mean how many shootings have we had (especially in America) in the past year? Too many to count.

yeah, it's definitely not and over reacting, especially since Britney has a slight phobia from strangers!!!

It would have also changed things if he wasn't violent. The fact of the matter is, pay for a meet and greet like everyone else Bitch.

Living legend you can look but don't touch.

Read this earlier (I've been away from my phone most of the day, so didn't wanna write a shitty reply) but amazing that she continued on with the show! She seemed really concerned (as expected) and the security and her dancers did not over react.

I would have shat myself. What urges people to do that sort of shit! Seriously?

I think a lot of performers, if not all, are going to have the attack at Ariana's Manchester concert stuck in their minds whenever they go out on stage. It's kind of like that "this could easily happen to me" doubt that niggles at the back of your head. Obviously you'd be shitting yourself if you saw someone getting pinned down potentially carrying a weapon regardless, but it's the sort of thing that reinforces those worries that performers have. Scary stuff, but I praise her for returning and continuing the show.

This is now making the news in the UK.

Yeah I think the reaction was appropriate honestly. Sure, the guy was probably not a threat, but how do you know that before the situation has resolved itself? Someone storming a stage could be anything before he's dealt with. Better safe than sorry when something unpredictable like that happens, and it's so insensitive to do that after what happened to Ariana. Feel bad for Britney and the dancers too.
