Anyway it is their 24th anniversary today. Time flies very fast.
I heard Westlife trended on Twitter UK on the opening night mostly because of the setlist reactions lol Well I wish they'll lessen the number of ABBA songs. ABBAs Voyage will only be played in the UK. Since Westlife will play outside the UK, they took the opportunity to play it for the pop music fans that cannot go to UK that's what I was thinking. They kept on repeating they will only sing songs that are familiar to many. They are right because like I said before I have been to their concerts and nobody knows their new songs they don't want dead air in the audience as performers |

I get that but I think they should cater to the fans and not some average Joe, I am sure there are more devoted fans than casual people. |

They've barely performed the new songs anywhere. Is it any wonder people don't know them?

Happy 43rd birthday to Mr. Shane Steven Sherlock Filan later
Anyway, remember when Mark said maybe they will put up a special session like their acoustic session in 2010 to cater and to perform their lesser known songs to the concert setlist because of the fan requests since 2019 They should get rid of Gimme Gimme Gimme A Man After Midnight lol and Take a Chance on Me was played too long This post has been edited by myxxd: 4th July 2022, 07:55 PM |

Could they be planning a Abba covers album with so many Abba songs getting performed.

I'm seeing a few comments that they've changed the setlist slightly.

Do they just not want to sing the newer songs or what? I honestly don't get it. Why the hell even name the new tour Wild Dreams if they only sing lead single. They had 3 years for this tour and its laughable they sang more new songs on their comeback tour than this one. But it seems majority is loving this so ok. |

Sometimes I feel the previous label tried to utilise what they have a lot better, and if they were able to tour in 2020 they'd have actually been able to sing songs from Spectrum. I'm only guessing though, who knows.I can understand playing the hits cos that's what people know but I don't see why they'd be adverse to the new songs. |

Just noticed in Kworb that their daily average flown from <1m to > 2.5m. Note sure if the concerts in Ireland are the reason behind this or something else, or maybe a mistake:

I'm going to the Wembley concert. My first ever concert.
Intrigued to see if it does anything for their sales. I do still wish they'd do more performances of songs they don't perform that much. |

Maybe Jay can give us an update on Wild Dreams album sales? It should be very close to GOLD by now!
Anyway anyone can explain how on earth Westlife are not on this list? https://chartmasters.org/best-selling-artists-of-all-time/ |

I'm surprised they're not in that yeah, especially if the lowest in that list is 9 million in total. |
