So sad she’s fallen so far into irrelevance that this hasn’t even been given a thread until now. Listening to this now, I’m enjoying it but I’m not sure it’s as instant as KIN was.

I've had this album on today on my Spotify. I didn't get round to listening to 'Kin' (or indeed, 'Tiger Suit' and 'Invisible Empire/Crescent Moon') so I am on something of a rediscovery of KT's work that I didn't get round to exploring when it was first released at the moment.

'The River' is absolutely glorious, very evocative of her first two albums which I still love. She's also worked with Suzi Quatro on a couple of the tracks and you can definitely feel her influence on those.

Tiger Suit and KIN are absolute beauties of albums. I never got as into IE/CM. It was lovely but very dull.

Had a listen to "The River" last night, not bad, definite potential to grow and will give it more listens. It also made me listen to "(Still A) Weirdo" And "Other Side Of The World" afterwards - both are amazing wub.gif

Weirdo is possibly my favourite KT track, so underrated. I was gobsmacked when it actually made top 40 though.

The River is a brilliant song, her best for me since (Still A) Weirdo probably. The album was quite good on first listen, I somehow managed to get the HMV Scotland exclusive edition with two bonus tracks, both of which are strong enough for the main album I'd have said.

another fan of Still a weirdo!!! I still can remember at how surprised I was when it made it to #40, these days it wouldn't even make the top 1000 on iTunes sadly :/ KT is too good for there charts

I’m in love with KT’s flute playing on Dark Side Of Me.
