So some new material from Liam Gallagher has arisen at last, was released earlier today and is already doing well on iTunes:

Sounds just like Oasis, as if we expected anything else! laugh.gif but I still like it. He'll have to do something very special to better Noel's recent material though.

Not really doing much for me on the first few listens. Some nice production but the rest of the song is a bit limp, particularly the lack of a solid chorus.

Noel's first song with High Flying Birds was much more instant, even if it had the advantage of sounding just like 'The Importance of Being Idle'.

It's odd. This sounds like any song that Liam Gallagher could have put out at any point in the last 17 years, yet in 2017, it sounds incredibly fresh. Maybe it's because we've been devoid of any big, mainstream "indie" sounding songs for at least half a decade?

Oooh, this is very Oasis as expected but he sounds great on it and the chorus is very catchy. Not hitting me yet as much as my favourite Noel songs though yet (AKA... What a Life & Ballad of the Mighty I) but pleased with how good it is. Wonder if it can be a hit of some sort, would be pleased with a top 20 peak anyway biggrin.gif
