8. "The Difference"
9. "Don't Make Me Choose"
10. "Under You"
11. "Unhinged"
12. "Comfortable"
Bacon.
He should've recorded a track called "all you f***ing w*n**rs...". Missed opportunity there
Can't wait for this, the last album was great and from the clip Close sounds like it'll be a great start for the era
Hype for this
He doesn't waste any time but I think he will be a one hit wonder.
Actual excitement for this! His previous album was brilliant.
What the hell is this album title?
Bacon.
And he couldn't have come up with anything better?
I think the title is quirky sounding, I like it. We've heard none of the tracks, so the title could be an excellent fit with the overall theme of the album, lyrically.
Here's the artwork:
For one of the hottest young pop stars out there, they could have picked a better picture
I like the title though! And yes on Ty Dollar Sign being on Bacon. Please be Nick's Work From Home!
Hottest popstar alive, I can't wait for this album
Deluxe Edition includes:
Testify
When We Get Home (feat. Daniella Mason)
That's What They All Say
Jealous
Chains
Levels
Just cannot let go of the previous era
Him and Meghan Trainor both have songs on their forthcoming albums titled 'Champagne Problems'.
Could've picked a better image. I wish he'd keep the Boon look tbh.
Did this pass everyone by?
I like it but it is maybe a tad overproduced.
I really like it. Close is a lot better though, obviously.
He only released it early cus songwriter-of-the-moment Meghan Trainor has a song with the same title and he wanted to look like he had it first.
I would have gone with Chanpagne Problems as the lead single. It's far superior to Close in my opinion.
Is Closer doing anything or is it a Levels?
'Champagne Problems' to me sounds like an improved 'Levels'. I can see it growing on me more as well.
He's on Saturday Night Live tonight, so hopefully that can help out 'Close' over there.
'Close' is one of the best songs of the year for me. I really like how subtle it is and he works really well with Tove Lo too.
I like Nick Jonas, and i may have said this before, but definitely the worst album title I've heard of in a long while.
Close is okay at the moment for me.
It is a strange album name but i would feel a possible honest name.
I really like the album name
Loving Close, and Champagne Problems as well! Loved his last album, so I'm excited for this
Bacon is a bit of a tune but wtf are the lyrics
The clips sound really disappointing though, it all sounds quite samey.
I'm loving Bacon, I really like how it builds and the beat creeps in. The video is on Tidal now.
Album is out now. #1 on American iTunes but struggling on UK iTunes due to, bizarely, no front page promo unless you swipe or search for it.
The album is strong. 3.5/5 for me on a first listen, these are the standouts:
Bacon
Comfortable
Under You
Touch
Champagne Problems
Chainsaw
Close
It's a bit too long but the overall vibe is cohesive and focused. Chainsaw is still one of my favourites, but I really don't think he should be releasing it as a second single, it could totally kill the campaign. I feel as though Bacon or Under You would be better choices.
Josepvinaixa said Under You is second not Chainsaw
This is an album of two halves pretty much. Voodoo up to Bacon are all great, as is Under You and the rest are just meh. Close, Bacon, Voodoo and Under You are definitely the highlights though (and the last album's singles if you count them as they're on the deluxe ).
After months of hating his music, I decided to give this a spin, and kinda love some of it. Damn.
I love this new single! It's like the perfect sequel to 'Jealous'.
When I heard live performance by Nick... i think was VMA performance and I really loved "Close". The video is kind of "Elastic Heart" by Sia...
Pretty crap really. What happened to the release of the brilliant 'Under You'? First 'Teacher' from the last album and now this.
Plus 'Champagne Problems' is more worthy than this also.
His era is a mess. Stanning Joe now anyway.
Yeah, I am feeling this era he has no idea what to release. Close was fantastic but it seems all the other tracks are pretty meh so he's releasing videos to see what ones are more popular
Pumping out the vids like there's no tomorrow...
