Pretty close then pre-contest according to the 'experts'.

Had to Google who Roman Kemp even was so that's not a great start but then again I didn't know Toff before the show. Think Andrew could be a good underdog shout.

Surprised Jacqueline Jossa is rank outsider - Could be another Charlie Brooks - ex-EastEnders, young mum etc.

Might be worth a bet actually

And I think she'll be an absolute trooper in the trials!

I’m also surprised at Jacquelines odds! I had her down as most likely to win based off the pre first episode line up.

She's now as low as 6/1 ohmy.gif

Posted by: ElectroBoy 12th November 2019, 04:57 PM

I don't understand why she was so far out in the first place given she's young, current, been in EE for ages and in a fairly high profile relationship with Dan Osborne - she doesn't scream rank outsider to me

I guess the odds will all change after the first show anyway. I remember Carol Thatcher being 66/1 to win pre show and then slashed dramatically.

Posted by: Liаm 12th November 2019, 04:59 PM

She's SO gonna smash it!! I don't think there seems to be an obvious winner pre-series but that may all change after an episode or two laugh.gif

Posted by: Big Boobs Vjay! 12th November 2019, 07:55 PM

Nadine to win!! But the football hooligans and facebook moms and pops will make it so Wight will win with 90% of the vote.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 12th November 2019, 08:00 PM

Facebook mums are surely more Nadine's audience?

Posted by: dobbo 12th November 2019, 08:16 PM

Not so sure about Wright as the fave. Don't think he'll have quite the mass appeal as Harry did last season. He'll be final 4 for sure though I'd think.

Facebook mums would go for the 'hot rugby player' - i.e the desperate Housewives vote

Nadine will be one of the first few out

Posted by: Kath 13th November 2019, 07:56 PM

They really should start doing this with just Joe Public as they really are scraping the barrel for the celebrity element. They'd have to change the name of the show of course to perhaps 'I'm Not a Celebrity But I'd Like a Three Week Holiday in Australia Then You Can Get Me Out of Here' (that is a bit of a mouthful though I suppose).

I'd nominate you to do the dunny duties Chris!

I do think an ordinary version would work though (I'm sick of 'celebrity' versions taking over every other reality show anyway)

Posted by: pippa 13th November 2019, 08:22 PM

An ordinary version would work just as good, if not better than the Celebrity one.
Many who take part, you could question, if they are Celebrities at the best of times.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 13th November 2019, 08:33 PM

I'd be far less interested in a non-celebrity version tbh

Posted by: ElectroBoy 13th November 2019, 08:34 PM

They sort of did a non-celeb one with 'Survivor' which flopped after 2 series

Although I guess if LI can be resurrected and a success then I don't see why Survivor couldn't

Posted by: Liаm 13th November 2019, 08:34 PM

I mean this year they have the most famous transgender person in the world, a girl group gay icon and a football legend, I don't know what more a show like this can do?? They're hardly gonna get Beyonce and Chris Hemsworth doing it.

I don't think I'd enjoy it as much without celebrities, the whole fun of it is the fact that you get to see celebrities you know in a different light challenging themselves in this scenario. It's about seeing what they're like, how they measure up to what you expect.

Posted by: dobbo 13th November 2019, 10:19 PM

I'm with Liam on that one. I think a non-celebrity version is an interesting idea but I'd probably get bored of it very quickly. Seeing celebrities go from glammed up studios to crawling through sludge covered in cockroaches and the like is what makes it good TV.

Posted by: RobBob 13th November 2019, 10:27 PM

I actually think the line up is very good? Don't know why it's getting so much flack.

Posted by: Lukuzz 13th November 2019, 10:29 PM

Poor Nadines odds, really hope she does better than predicted

Posted by: Slick 16th November 2019, 02:29 PM

Nadine seems way too low, she was the most trending on Twitter!

Posted by: Jordan Lee 18th November 2019, 12:07 AM

It’s way too early to call it but Andrew to me seems most likely to be first out.

There’s no obvious winner though which is good! It definitely feels like an open year and some interesting characters too. I agree on Nadine being a bit low. Surely Nadines fanbase will be enough to ensure she escapes at least the first three vote offs. I’m hoping she gets decent airtime. I was a fan of tonight’s show though because we seen bits from every single camp member and I don’t think anyone hogged the lime light.

On another note Adele looks so young! It is the Adele who told Jade she had a verruca laugh.gif she’s aged so well maybe in reverse she looks like she’s in her mid 20s!

Odds are often way off at this stage though. Emily Atack was among the favourites to be first out the day of the launch last year wasn’t she?

I can't see him winning, he doesn't really fit the IAC winner profile

There doesn't really seem to be an obvious winner though, however I think judging by what we've seen I think the winner will be female rather than male. The men just feel a little too bland

Caitlyn I think will be Joey Essex 2.0 though the early favourite, good airtime but falls short.

Posted by: Wall 19th November 2019, 11:14 PM

Nadine legit coming for the same placing as Vanessa white

Posted by: Liаm 20th November 2019, 01:11 AM

The more I see, the more I can't see past Jacqueline.

Posted by: Jonjo 20th November 2019, 01:29 AM

Rn, I can't see passed a Caitlyn victory, but Jacqueline is hot on her heels and it all depends on the airtime she receives.

I hope Nadine can cause an upset... no way does she deserve to not be top 5 in the odds and below James of all people!

Posted by: ElectroBoy 20th November 2019, 09:03 AM

I can't see Caitlyn winning at all; she'll survive the first few eliminations but as with most US contestants on Reality TV in the UK (barring Busey) they tend to underperform in the voting.

I reckon she'll finish 5th or something like that.

They seem to be trying to push Kate (for some bizarre reason). If Jac carries on as she is then she'll win. Journey of conquering her fears etc, down to Earth and relatable.

Posted by: Jordan Lee 20th November 2019, 12:06 PM

Its still to early to predict but other than Andrew and Adele being the first two originals to go, it could go either way.

Last year I thought Malique would get the teen vote but it ended up going to James (was that his name laugh.gif from the vamps). This year it seems that’s going to Roman but on paper I thought Myles would’ve had that.

Nadine I think has more of a fanbase than Vanessa White did but there’s stronger competition this year. I hope Nadine doesn’t get lost in the edit.

Caitlyn I think might manage third but I can see it being a bit Joey Essex like where they feel like the winner but fall short. I find it hilarious how Kirk from Corrie hasn’t even went in yet and he still has higher odds than 6 of them laugh.gif

I'd say its the most open series since Foggy won.

However if Jac continues as per yesterday then I think she'll become a big favourite to win.

Posted by: Jordan Lee 21st November 2019, 01:19 AM

Ian didn’t have a great show tonight.

I’m thinking he could cause some drama though tbh.

But I think he could continue to come across like a misery the longer he stays in which could drop his odds even further.

Adele still bottom laugh.gif yeah her and Andrew I really think will be first two to go providing one of them isn’t immune from the first vote off.

I sort of could too tbh. If Adele and Andrew are both immune from vote off #1 I think it could go any way but right now I’d say it’s definitely one of those for vote off #1 and #2 as well but It depends how they do it. Wasn’t Jimmy Bullard a favourite to win but he went first but was only against two others in that vote?

Of the new arrivals I think Andy will do better than Cliff providing he’s like Kirk in real life. It’s amazing how many soap stars have done it and have been like their character in real life too, Joe Swash, Antony Cotton etc laugh.gif

Adeles odds literally drop by the show. She’ll be at 1000/1 by the first elimination show next week laugh.gif

Cliff is higher on there than I imagined. I can see him being an early exit if I’m honest. In some ways I’d love it if the people with the lowest odds got the immunity from vote off one just to throw some things off track a bit.

Yes! I was just thinking about him the other day actually and how he went first despite being one of if not the most shown at first and being a huge favourite to win. He’s definitely the most shocking first exit! I was stunned that Tinchy Stryder didn’t go first that year over who was up for the vote.

As what I said on DS...

I can't believe that pre-show she had such bad odds - she was going to be an obvious top 5 finish, even if she didn't feature heavily due to who she is/ her current fan base.

Got her at 16/1, which would be a nice little flutter in the run up to Christma

Oh god! Who likes that controlling, sexist, chauvinist, aggressive, toxic douche bully?!

Posted by: Jordan Lee 28th November 2019, 01:25 AM

That telly mix poll is surprising.

I think Ian May outlast James though and Myles is quite low down too. I’m actually surprised at Myles odds tbh I really thought he would’ve had the girl vote over Roman if I’m honest.

Adele and Andrew as the first two originals to go seems likely but I do feel Cliff will be an early exit too and I think Myles will last longer than his odds suggest. Nadine I’m hoping can go far but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised at her being an early exit but when she’s shown she gets a good response. I think caitlyn will be the shock exit if there is one though.

Nadine getting great shortenings on her odds this morning!

Posted by: Jαsє 28th November 2019, 08:27 PM

6/4 Andrew Whyment
4/1 Roman Kemp
5/1 Jacqueline Jossa
6/1 Caitlyn Jenner
18/1 Nadine Coyle
28/1 Ian Wright
28/1 Kate Garraway
33/1 Myles Stephenson
40/1 James Haskell
125/1 Andrew Maxwell
125/1 Cliff Parisi
200/1 Adele Roberts

Nadine! She was second favourite to be eliminated first last week! ohmy.gif

Posted by: Jαsє 28th November 2019, 08:32 PM

I think Nadine will come top 5 tbh, maybe 6th

EDIT: Nah, here's my prediction:

12th. Adele
11th. Cliff
10th. Andrew
09th. Myles
08th. Nadine
07th. James
06th. Kate
05th. Caitlyn
04th. Ian
03rd. Roman
02nd. Andy
01st. Jacqueline

I think Kate and Ian will do a lot better than people are expecting

Posted by: ElectroBoy 28th November 2019, 08:48 PM

I can see Ian and James unfortunately doing better than I'd like.

I agree, if someone like Jamie Lomas (the one in Toff year) can come 2nd - James can definitely make the top half at least and probably top 5

Posted by: shadow2009 28th November 2019, 09:53 PM

The Facebook comments (on the I'm A Celeb posts) are pretty much pro-Jaqueline and anti-James.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 28th November 2019, 09:55 PM

I think it’s a 4 horse race tbh I think the top 4 will definitely be Jaqueline, Andy, Roman and Caitlyn and I all think they have a chance of winning it at this point it will depend on the episodes and what’s shown .

YES!!!

Andy is nice enough... but dull.

I can't see how he evens and odds on to win with some bookies. Maybe its more of a reflection on the rest of the cast biggrin.gif

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 29th November 2019, 02:12 PM

He's the fan favourite on social media.

I can't see Andy winning tbh but who knows

Posted by: Lukuzz 29th November 2019, 02:43 PM

Go on Nadine. Would love to see her top 5. I think top 4 is out of the question but anything else other than one of the first 5 out would be great

That top 5 (in any order in all honesty) seems FAR too good to be true. Ian is gonna ruin it as I assume he'll be incredibly safe on "Vote to Save".

Yup, I can easily see him top 4

Jac now drifting to 10/1 sad.gif

Posted by: Liаm 29th November 2019, 04:19 PM

Yeah Ian is so coming top 5, if not top 3. I can just see it :/

I really hope Andy doesn't win it, nice bloke but what a dull winner when we could have Caitlyn or Jacqueline! He's literally just Kirk.

Posted by: shadow2009 29th November 2019, 05:16 PM

I was expecting to hate Roman because of how annoying he is on Capital and how privileged he comes across as but he's actually alright in this.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 29th November 2019, 05:59 PM

I would be ok with any of that top 5 in the bookies winning tbh.

Nadine *.* her airtime going forward will be crucial, she rises each time she's shown more. I guess as more people leave it'll be easier for her to stand out.

I really hope Roman will take the crown over Andy, he's nice enough but would be such an underwhelming winner based on what we've seen so far!

Posted by: Wall 3rd December 2019, 04:08 PM

I feel like Roman will snatch it. I’m sure we’ll known celebrities will tweet and ask fans to vote roman

Posted by: WhoChristmasssy 3rd December 2019, 04:09 PM

Honestly I think Roman would be an underwhelming winner - I think we've seen more of Andy over the last week or so.

Posted by: ChristmaSteve201 3rd December 2019, 05:11 PM

I like Roman, seems an nice guy!

Posted by: Jordan Lee 3rd December 2019, 06:26 PM

Romans odds are so surprising.

Him and Myles aren’t that different tbh and I’d have thought Myles would’ve easily gotten the girl vote this series based off looks laugh.gif

Jacquelines who I think it’s gonna win but I think this will be a series where more than one persons topped the vote of who to save each night. I’d be surprised if the winner (whoever that may be) is way ahead like the last few years.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 3rd December 2019, 06:45 PM

I really can’t see Nadine finishing higher than Jaqueline or Caitlyn tbh . She would have to keep being dominantly shown all this week and she fades in to the background quite easily (Not entirely her fault but it’s true )

I wouldn’t be shocked if Myles did better than what his odds suggest as well.

Posted by: ElectroBoy 3rd December 2019, 07:02 PM

I could see Myles being out next.

I know that James and Ian are awful; but Myles is nice... but a bit bland. Unless he does the trial tonight, I think he could well be out

Yeah, for every one episode she's featured (and her odds shorten) she seems to get punished for it by being removed from the footage for the next three episodes. unsure.gif

Tonight I'd HOPE it would be James who would be eliminated but can just as easily see it being Kate or Nadine. The others all have big social media followings and Rak Su for example are spamming Instagram with the numbers to vote for Myles. Nadine has the least followers and doesn't have an army of teenage girls who fancy her to spam vote her.

Doing the trial tonight are Andy, Kate and Jacqueline.

James is 1/3 to be the next one out which is what Cliff was so I'd be quite surprised if he doesn't go tonight

I still can't see past Jacqueline winning. I dunno why either, it's just a feeling I've had from day 2/3 laugh.gif

Posted by: ChristmaSteve201 3rd December 2019, 07:21 PM

James get a lot of airtime but he won't have a big fanbase imo.

Posted by: December Dong 3rd December 2019, 07:22 PM

It will be so so much better when James is out, and even mroe when Ian follows him out the door. Imagine how much airtime will be freed up withiut him and without people talking about him!

Posted by: Jαsє 3rd December 2019, 07:23 PM

I don't think Ian's going anywhere any time soon unfortunately :/

Posted by: Jαsє 3rd December 2019, 10:36 PM

5/4 Andrew Whyment
3/1 Roman Kemp
9/1 Jacqueline Jossa
9/1 Nadine Coyle

How is Andy that high?! I still can't see past a Jac/Roman battle for 1st with Nadine hopefully in 3rd but failing that I'd rather see Caitlyn up there over Andy

Posted by: shadow2009 4th December 2019, 10:06 AM

Nadine being 4th would be an amazing result considering how she was second favourite to be first out.

Posted by: coi 4th December 2019, 10:20 AM

The odds have been remarkably accurate with the eliminations so far!

8/1 Nadine Coyle
11/1 Jacqueline Jossa

Andrew's odds...I just don't get it mellow.gif

Posted by: December Dong 4th December 2019, 03:20 PM

Yeah I think Myles is out tonight. James' vote has gone to Ian rolleyes.gif

I don't get Andrew at all. I assume it's an army of Corrie fans? I don't even get Roman either.

Posted by: linds 4th December 2019, 07:27 PM

I think Andy is the dullest one there??? I don't get it either! I've never seen Corrie so have no clue about him really but there just really isn't much to him? Myles is kinda the same tbf but at least the odds reflect that

Posted by: Liаm 4th December 2019, 07:28 PM

Andy is literally just his Corrie character, idg it either :') It's not even like he's a big or popular character within the show.

Posted by: ElectroBoy 4th December 2019, 07:31 PM

If Andy does win, it would be quite fitting for this series really - dull and forgettable.

I still think Jac or Roman will win though

Posted by: Jαsє 4th December 2019, 07:40 PM

I think this is one of the rare times when the bookies have it wrong. I'll be gobsmacked if it's not Jac or Roman who win!

Posted by: Jαsє 4th December 2019, 07:42 PM

Next elimination

1/8 Ian Wright
7/1 Kate Garraway
7/1 Myles Stephenson
16/1 Caitlyn Jenner
33/1 Jacqueline Jossa
40/1 Nadine Coyle
66/1 Roman Kemp
100/1 Andrew Whyment

Ian fave to go but I wouldn't be surprised with anybody out of Kate/Myles/Caitlyn tbh

Posted by: shadow2009 4th December 2019, 07:45 PM

I think Caitlyn could be a shock exit. She's well known but I wouldn't exactly say she has a fanbase?

Posted by: ElectroBoy 4th December 2019, 07:57 PM

Surprised Ian is such a favourite to go... might put some money on Myles going at those odds

Posted by: Jαsє 4th December 2019, 08:19 PM

I've put a couple of quid on Caitlyn to go

Jac now drifting to 12/1. Legit so shocked. I've put another £5 on her. A lot of people on the DS forums are convinced she'll win too so I'm glad it's not just me laugh.gif

Kate close to overtaking Nadine now, who has fallen a lot, and Jac close to overtaking Roman

The bookies really don't have a clue this year do they rotf.gif

Nadine is falling because she's getting zero airtime yet again.

Whenever she gets significant airtime she becomes a favourite and then she doesn't get shown again for the next three days.
