▣ You must only vote in your assigned semi-final.
▣ Do not vote for yourself.
▣ Altyr Muunilinst, as autoqualifier, are expected to vote in both semi-finals.
▣ When voting, please do so using the following points system (12 / 10 / 08 / 07 / 06 / 05 / 04 / 03 / 02 / 01).
▣ Please provide your votes via PM to http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showuser=11709, there is no other way to vote.
▣ The AMUBC aslo request that you include your country name with your votes to ensure expediency.
▣ The deadline for voting is 23:59 (UK Time) on Thursday 6th of August 2020. You have just under a week to vote, there will be no extensions.
▣ There will be 20 qualifiers selected from each semi-final to advance to the final.
▣ Late votes will be accepted if they arrive before 12pm on Friday 7th of August 2020 but will be subject to a 15% deduction for your entry.
▣ Voting after the above final deadline, or failure to vote, will lead to a 33% deduction for your entry.

I don't recognise many of these entries at all which surprised me a little given all the vetoes and double confirmations! Aeroche's entry is one I'vev heard a bit from YouTube charts, and of course I've heard Sidewalk Teens from TARO Bellamia's confirmations thread

I think I have heard about 8 or 9 of the songs in my semi though a handful of those I don't really remember too well. Only about 3 or 4 that I have heard in the opposite semi.
Happy to be in the same semi as Skall and hoping this won't end up being the 800th great entry by them to DNQ. My other fave of the songs I already know is Aeroche's in the other semi. <3
We had 62 confirmed nations but one ended up withdrawing so apols to Sam (but on the bright side it means you only have one semi to vote in xx).

I knew and had considered sending at various points this year, the entries from Hendinia, Thelonia and St Burbia (with yes, another desi trashbop) but literally all of them are in the opposite semi so there should still be plenty to discover.

For anyone who may be interested in how the endless double confirmations played out, in addition to the 4 confirmations for Hanna Ferm and 2 each for Duke Dumont, SUNMI and Yves V who all got vetoed, there are a further four songs which have made it through despite also being confimed twice: Ella Lee, Eskimo Callboy, Grace Davies and Malia Civetz. On top of all of that there were also 2 confirmations for songs that had already been sent in previous contests. This must be a record number of entry clashes by a longshot - and the fact that nearly all of these were on the final day of confirmations...

Quite some songs in this edition have made to the chart. The auto-qualifier is quite good, and one of the better LEON songs I reckon.
Hence, got Altyr Muunilinst, Aeroche, FARC, D'yermak'er and Hendinia in the charts! Hype to all 5 countries here!
A bit surprised that Ghostkeeper and Backfire didn't receive a veto since Ghostkeeper is quite popular in my circle, and I assume Backfire goes down quite well with Eurovision fans.

Don't really know a lot from the semi's so apart from the behind the scenes heart-attacks for the mods it's looking pretty inspired across the boards! Know and like Botanikka, Altyr, FARC and Klum Rep and imagine all will do quite well. Can't wait to get stuck in!

Just finished listening to Semi #1 and there's six songs that are potential chart entries for me next week while one of them already has charted for me! All-in-all a pretty good semi as 20 out of the 30 songs scored a 5 out of 10 or higher for me. Only two songs I found unbearable to listen to while one got marked down for an entirely different reason.
Excited to get on with Semi #2.

Semi two was the weaker semi IMO. Way more songs I didn't like but my top 7 was very solid and miles ahead from the rest. Have sent in my votes, very happy with some of my discoveries but quite happy I'm in semi 2 and not semi 1 now based on the level of quality in the two

OK it's official, Umbrella Academy are following BJSC - Another track is featured in season 2, another DNQ. Peter Schilling Major Tom. Just saying they were obviously miffed that 2 Singerpurear tracks failed to qualify and decided to feature them. we refuse to believe in co-incidence... E

tho' Singerpurear are regularly too quirky/a bit old to qualify, it makes it all the more special when an oddity sneaks through to the final unexpectedly Quite proud commercial flop unusual stuff like Lene Lovich, Inga, Kishi Bashi, Reol, Neeraj Shreedar and others made it

Voted. Strong quality across the board. I rated seven songs 9/10+ in Semi 1, which also has fantastic depth with nothing I disliked at all, while I rated eight songs 9/10+ in Semi 2, which was decent enough throughout the rest of it too (the first half was particularly amazing) although there were a handul of entries I'd definitely not return to.

Votes sent. Semi 1 was definitely far better this month but I had just enough songs I was happy to vote for in this one as well (there was just a little bit too much samey middle of the road pop for my tastes x)
The semi did both start and end on some bangers though, hype to FSR and Land of DW *.* also Chestoria (an absolute world better than your last 2 entries, hope this one will do well for you after the false start!) and Séyetana (which is most definitely not a weeb song). x

Some amazing discoveries from my semi! For some reasons I overlooked Pale Horses by a fair bit and actually it does sound great! Didn't realise East Rukahavian entry is actually in my Second Chance playlist, so big hype to them as well!
Hype to République d'Áskorza actually because that is a solid entry and the style reminds me of Evgenya Redko's "Far" in Eurovision 2020 during the Lithuanian national selection. My neighbours all have very solid entries so I quite enjoy a fair moment there!
Another solid semi! Can't wait to hear the first semi as well!

Voted. If I had a word for semi 2 it would be schizophrenic! Part pop diva part eclectic. And tracks from both categories were also schizophrenic in construction, lots of genre mixing, notably techno thrash! I pretty much liked every track, had to turf lots out of the points. My points were also schizophrenic, balanced between each persona
Hype to Tartford, and didn't initially spot the Ina track we charted earlier in the year. If videos got points there are some fab ones that kept me glued.
