I've been watching this on BBC. I'm surprised this thread is so positive. Not sure I'll watch the next episode, it's very slow moving.

Yeah I think this is really dry so far. I'd not read any of the online hype before watching it but it is so slow and I just don't believe any of it. I'm up to episode 5 where Faith found her elderly client dead in his vegetable patch and it just seemed so unnecessary?! I'm sure/hope that will be explained in the next couple of episodes, but it's yet another BBC series that I've watched this year where I don't see myself tuning in the second season.

Most unrealistic of all is that the BBC paid Grammy Award-winning Amy Wadge to soundtrack this... like why?! There are so many readily available wishy-washy singer/songwriter tunes perfect for this kind of programme that they could have used instead of wasting license payer money for her autotuned mess?

I'm enjoying it tongue.gif

It's not the best show ever, but it's something decent to watch during the dry Summer months. I'm not quite sure what warranted all the online hype though, it's fairly basic for this type of show.

I've been watching this all week. I had hoped to catch up in time to see the final episode yesterday but saw it this evening instead.

A little taken aback by the abrupt ending. Still, that leaves me intrigued for the second series.

It’s only available in Welsh so far. The good news is that subtitles are available. You need to look for Un Bore Mercher which is Welsh for..... something.
