Official Chart First Look: Full Update 1 Mark Knopfler & Mark Knopfler's Guitar Heroes - Going Home * 2 Beyoncé - TEXAS HOLD 'EM 3 Benson Boone - Beautiful Things 4 Teddy Swims - Lose Control 5 Ariana Grande - we can't be friends (wait for your love) 6 Djo - End of Beginning 7 V - FRI(END)S * 8 Noah Kahan - Stick Season 9 Ariana Grande - yes, and? 10 Dua Lipa - Training Season 11 Calvin Harris & Rag'n'Bone Man - Lovers in a Past Life 12 Ella Henderson feat. Rudimental - Alibi 13 ¥$, Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign feat. Rich the Kid & Playboi Carti - CARNIVAL 14 Michael Marcagi - Scared to Start 15 Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten 16 Kygo & Ava Max - Whatever 17 Billie Eilish - What Was I Made For? 18 Ariana Grande - bye 19 Dasha - Austin 20 Bryson Tiller - Whatever She Wants Official Charts Report QUOTE Mark Knopfler’s Guitar Heroes – a super-group containing everyone from Nile Rodgers and Sting to Joan Jett and Ringo Starr – and their cover of Going Home (Theme From Local Hero) is right now challenging Beyoncé for the UK’s Number 1 single. A supergroup made up of 54 guest artists under the direction of Knopfler - best known as the lead guitarist for iconic rock band Dire Straits - have covered the artists' 1983 instrumental rock track, which was featured in the BAFTA-winning 1983 drama Local Hero, starring Peter Riegert and Burt Lancaster. The charity single – from which all proceeds go to Teenage Cancer Trust UK and Teen Cancer America – leads at the midweek mark with less than 1,000 chart units, so it will need all the support it can get to keep growing throughout the week. BTS member V, aka Kim Tae-hyung, is approaching his first solo UK Top 10 single with FRI(END)S expected to debut at Number 7. If V holds on he would be the third member of BTS to secure a solo Top 10 single in the UK; following Jimin, whose Like Crazy peaked at Number 8, and Jung Kook, whose current tally stands at four; Too Much with The Kid Laroi and Central Cee (10), 3D with Jack Harlow (5), Standing Next To You (5) and Seven with Latto (3). Calvin Harris and Rag’N’Bone Man could reach a brand new peak with Lovers in a Past Life (11). Fast-rising US singer-songwriter Dasha is quickly catching fire in the UK. Austin is now predicted to smash into the Top 20 on Friday, up six week-on-week (19). |

I’d be happy with Kacey or Justin getting #1 but would prefer Kacey (unlikely I know ) I just hope it’s something new and not Ariana again

My predictions
1. Benson 2. Beyonce 3. Ariana 4. Djo 5. Teddy Wouldn’t be surprised if that charity song or Beyonce is 1 on first look but 90% certain benson gets the 1 |

It’s funny because the 4 contenders (Benson, Ariana, Djo and Beyoncé) are all around 6/10 songs for me, so there’s nothing I’m really hoping doesn’t make it and also nothing I’m really excited about getting there. I think all in all I’d quite like Benson to do it just because he’s been creeping up steadily for so many weeks.

Exciting chart as it’s a bit all up in the air! I really like benson, ari and djos songs so I’ll be happy with any, hopefully they all get a turn. I do also like Beyoncé’s one but less than these 3 so pleased it looks like her time has come.
Thank god we’re not the us, Teddy swims is predicted to be the next #1 there after Ariana 🤮 |

Hoping Benson isn't no. 1 and either Beyoncé or Ariana get it instead.

Wouldn't totally shock me to see Beyoncé still ahead today as she's #1 on Amazon, which is typically more up-to-date in its data reporting for First Look.

Time for a new number. I feel like Djo is destined for #4. Rooting for Djo or Ari though.
