Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny has refused to travel on the club's pre-season tour of the US.

The 33-year-old France defender is out of contract at the end of the 2019-20 season and is a reported target for French clubs Bordeaux, Rennes and Lyon.

"We are very disappointed by Laurent's actions, which are against our clear instructions," said Arsenal.

"We hope to resolve this matter and will not be providing any further comment at this time."

Bordeaux have reportedly offered Koscielny a three-year deal.

Barcelona have signed England Under-16 striker Louie Barry on a three-year contract from West Bromwich Albion.

Birmingham-born Barry, 16, had been with the Baggies since he was six and turned down the offer of a professional contract with the Championship club.

West Brom will receive £235,000 in compensation from the Spanish champions, according to news agency Reuters.

Malcom and Coutinho gotta be going now surely. Will be really interesting to see if Barcelona end up going for Neymar as well.

I think it's going to be a really quiet transfer window from now for the Top 6 clubs buying players at least.

It feels like it has been a quiet transfer window in general, I expected there to be lots of major transfers by now but it's more of speculation than actual confirmed transfers. I'm not totally sure when the transfer window closes but it doesn't look like there is going to be much change in most squads compared to last season.

I think this is for a couple of reasons really; Chelsea have a ban and City and Liverpool don't want to upset the squad harmony too much. Arsenal have no cash. I think both Spurs and Man Utd have been active but it's obvious that Man Utd are finding the market quite tough in terms of prices quoted.

I think if Juventus/Real Madrid go for Pogba it will be after the UK window closes as it will be easier to negotiate, but can only see that happening if Pogba pushes for a move. If Neymar goes to Barcelona then that could have a ripple effect.

Liverpool will regret it if they don't replace Sturridge imo. Brewster not proven yet!

Brewster is going to be special. He just ‘has it’. Sturridge rarely played last year and Brewster will take his minutes. I loved peak Sturridge, but that last 2 seasons he can barely run. We could really do with another wide attacker, as Origi never looks as good out wide. Problem is you’re never going to displace Salah/Mane unless you’re Mbappe, which isn’t gonna happen.

I just worry if one of them were to get a bad injury as I'm not sure Origi is good enough and Brewster for the potential might not be able to fill in.

Pepe from Lille would be a decent signing imo, maybe won't come until next season.

While I agree you can say the same about any club bar probably City. Origi has just signed a big fat contract, he's still only 24. The problem we have is he is just not as effective out wide. I imagine we will probably play Ox there this season at times as well. Think if there is anyone we will go after it will be Dembele, but that depends on Neymar.

Maguire looks to be joining Man Utd for £80m. I like him a lot, but not sure how Solskjaer is going to play high press football with him and Lindelof as the centre-back pairing.. strange. Even more strange is Leicester are being linked with Dunk for £45m - the prices are mad!

The fact that only 10 years ago we sold Ronaldo i.e. the best player in the world for that same figure makes me uncontrollably weep... I don't even really rate Maguire. He's just a slightly better Phil Jones.

Clubs all have so much money they have no need to sell for anything other than a massive price. If you're guaranteed income of £150m+ by being in the Premier League, are likely to be in the bottom 6 and that income would go down by more than half if you get relegated, why on earth would you sell your most important player for only £40m? Everyone thought it was mad to spend 50 on Sigurdsson, but I think it was proved that he was the difference between Swansea being a PL or a Champ team, and if anything that was too little.
