Me personally, I think I would prefer something a little dark again next. It seems that some people here don't see Born This Way as fun, but I actually think it is. Dark can be fun too. And it's not THAT dark. I've had so much fun listening to that album. Sonically, songs like Government Hooker are way more interesting than the likes of Just Dance, which I've kind of grown out of a bit.

Gaga will be in the Live Lounge some time in September along with her BTWB dates. She could be performing a new single then!

Hopefully this album will be more in line with The Fame Monster music. The Fame was too pop, Born This Way (although I think it's her best) wasn't appealing enough to the general public. The Fame Monster is very mainstream while still having some meaning compared with The Fame.

I want the bloody album by then, not a name. Especially since she revealed "Born This Way"'s over four months early.

YES!
I think I'd like 2 singles before the album again, first single in September, second single in January, album a week later. If the material is good (she chooses the right bloody singles), and she gets an X Factor and Brit Awards slot then this era should easily outsell the BTW era. I'm excited! |

I'd rather the album was in September too, but let's face it this is Gaga we're dealing with here Even an announcement about an announcement is exciting!

It's only been 6 months since Marry The Night was released, so I'm happy to wait a little longer for the album.
I don't want her to turn into Rihanna and throw an album full of filler out every 12 months. |

I hope we get a single (HELD BACK RELEASE) this year (in time for XF ) and then a second single, again held back, in February followed by the album in time for The BRITS/The Grammys etc.

No way will it get a held back release. It doesn't matter though, as long as she releases it on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday at the very latest, and not a Friday, like Born This Way was.

Oh a new album release? . This pleases me, although I think the album won't be officially released until February next year or something.

Rumours flying all over Twitter about 'White Roses'.
Gaga sang Americano at the btwball in Brisbane holding white roses, and her partner's on the album have been tweeting about roses/thorns, and apparently there have been loads of other hints (roses in the backgrounds of some pics she has tweeted). They are Princess Diana's favourite flowers (there is a song about her on the new album) and so White Roses (which is trending worldwide) could be a new single or concept on the album. Probably just us reading too much into all these tiny hints but watch this space....... |

I think it's good they are leaving a bit of a gap between the last single and the new album. She was constantly releasing singles from the start of the fame up until the end of born this way and it was kinda a bit overkill.
