• Two Steps From Hell get a third week at #1, equaling the number of weeks spent at #1 by my former BJSC entry 'Rescue Me'. I can now reveal this was the #1 single for the last 2 weeks. It is the first hit for Two Steps From Hell, though Thomas Bergersen of the duo previously had a hit under his own name - 'Children of the Sun' reached #32 in 2016 (which also featured Soltvedt). Also, whilst the song is credited to the duo it is in fact solely a Bergersen composition.
• Following the release of the Disclosure VIP, 'Talk' by Khalid & Disclosure re-peaks at #3. The mighty Calvin Harris remains at #2 with 'Giant', which has been in the top 2 since its release 12 weeks ago.
• Jax Jones disappointed with 'Play', which was only able to reach #37. He has no problem returning back to the top end of the chart though as new single 'All Day And Night' enters at #4 to become his sixth top ten hit. It is in collaboration with Martin Solveig who gets his fifth top ten hit, presenting their new Europa project. Guest vocalist Madison Beer also gets her chart debut.
• Likewise, Zara Larsson failed to even reach the top 40 with previous single 'Ruin My Life' but new single 'Don't Worry Bout Me' brings her back to the top ten at #9. It is her sixth top ten hit (including three #1s - 'Lush Life', 'I Would Like' and 'Symphony').
• Martin Garrix also makes his return to the top 40 with new release 'Mistaken' at #24 after a few flops and near misses.
• Billie Eilish gets her 2nd top 40 hit with 'Bad Guy' at #36 (following 'When the Party's Over'). No other tracks from her album impact.
• Entering just outside the top 40 are future chart contenders from two collab singles; Becky Hill/Weiss at #43 and Armin van Buuren/Lucas & Steve at #44.
