 18.) BTS f/Desiigner - "Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" 2nd single, Love Yourself 承 'Her' Chart Run: 49-46-43-27-11-4-1-2-2-2-3-4-4-6-9-11-12-14-18-... (20 weeks) From one boy band to another. Highest K-pop song? Oh for sure. These boys made it big a couple months ago with their US TV debut performing DNA and it's only been up ever since. This is a contender for the #1 song of 2018: can they do it? |

 17.) Tove Styrke - "Mistakes" Non-album single Chart Run: 47-40-37-34-31-27-22-17-15-13-8-7-7-9-11-17-... (16 weeks) It's really been the year of random charters. With a wobbly chorus and a nicely weird structure, Swedish songbird Tove Styrke (not to be confused with Tove Lo) has managed to hold her own against some big names. |

Chart Contender Of The Week #4: Why Don't We - "Trust Fund Baby"
Like I said, it's pretty weird to see them and think about the consequences they must have faced when people connected them to Logan Paul. Luckily this didn't faze them. Can this take over like their previous single did? |

It's electrifying and hot, and it's exactly what I needed if Guetta were to ever go for the moombahton route. |

 14.) Virtual Self - "Ghost Voices" 2nd single, Virtual Self EP Chart Run: 35-26-21-16-14-... (5 weeks) It was a bit unprecedented, but Porter Robinson created an alias for himself, got to making a game, and finally made an EP with songs that belong on Dance Dance Revolution. Ghost Voices is arguably the most commercial but I wouldn't be surprised if it made it on the game. |

 11.) Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey - "The Middle" 3rd single, TBA Chart Run: 1-1-1-1-2-2-3-4-5-8-10-11--... (12 weeks) Shockingly enough, while "Stay" logged in its fifth week at #1 last year, this ends up dropping out of the top 10 this year. It also got trampled by the huge debuts but it still has a ways to go. It could end up taking the biggest song of 2018. Who knows at this point? |
