Four years on from the release of covers album Male, Natalie Imbruglia has signed a new deal with BMG and will be releasing an original album biggrin.gif She's also expecting her first child in the autumn!

Natalie's first three albums are sooooo good, and Come to Life had its moments too. Male was a bit less interesting for me but I'm much more hyped for original material.

Just yesterday I listened to "Shiver" and "Counting Down The Days". She's still on my playlist, so I'm really looking forward to new songs.

Natalie has released some strong singles, while Torn is one of them, others often get overlooked.

I find it very sad that one of the most beautiful women on Earth didn't manage to settle down, find the man / love of her life, and now needs to use sperm donation in order to have a baby. I wonder what went wrong for her (& Kylie, a fellow Aussie pop royalty). cry.gif

Aaah what wonderful news about her pregnancy! I must admit I haven't checked out a studio album of hers since 'Counting Down The Days' but I'm excited to hear this.

was her 4th album even released in the UK?
I remember Want flopped despite being decent (written by Chris Martin)
but then the label kinda chickened out and cancelled the album?

They did release a fourth album for her but cancelled the second single release.

My favourite is "Beauty on the fire", then "Shiver".

label are idiots, why cancelling an album thats fully recorded and ready and sure has costed a lot of $$$ in songwriters, producers, songs, studio recording , mastering, mixing etc

Congratulations to Natalie, on both her pregnancy & label signing. wub.gif BMG should prove to be a great fit for her!

I wouldn't regard it as being sad or something that went wrong, it's a viable option that she's taken! That's a positive thing.

Kylie talked about that subject here: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/kylie-mi...-slot-pghzvbhpb
