How many went in 2016/17?
Is there any pattern as to the acts that are instant A-Listed? For example has Sam Smith went from instant A to instant B listing? |

Thanks doesn't look like it just the major artists of the time are usually A Listed with the first single.
Clearly radio 1 have changed their methods since streaming & oaos have become the norm. I assume this is what it was like before held back releases in the 1980s. |

Skrillex a trend setter *.* Breakn A Sweat going A List was mad! But iirc R1 had it in some advert to promote Zane Lowe. Fearne Cotton had Antidote I think.

Yeh I remember this, Skrillex was huge for like 1 and a half albums.
I remember Eminem Without Me was instant A-Listed back in 2002 if memory serves me right which at the time was a strange one! |
