Did I miss My Way crossing a million? I don't remember an article about that! This article on the OCC web site 9/12/15 gave sales of 989,000. By 19/9/17 pure sales were 991,563. Not yet a million seller on 14/6/18 when 4 more songs were added to bring total to 175. By 16/12/18 it was finally listed as a million seller. Mr Brightside was also added to bring total up to 177. With Iris that total is now 178. Don't think there was any Frank Sinatra specific announcement. |

Fingers crossed the Spice Girls get their 3rd million seller and Say You'll Be There crosses 1 million in pure sales.

So nice to see actual sales where people paid respectable money to own that music and not single "sales" just by watching them on youtube...

Many of those songs if hits in the streaming era would be on 3 million plus. For me a million then would be somewhere on par with someone selling 3 million these days via the combination of streams and sales used these days as million selling these means very little where years ago it was a huge and rare enough achievement. |

And just try to imagine what the "sales" would be like if the streaming era had started in the 1960's! Bohemian Rhapsody would probably be far above 10 million. |
