After selling the lowest amount for a #1 since 2008, 'Despacito' could lose its place at the top spot again this week, potentially replaced by 'Feels' by Calvin Harris, Pharrell, Katy Perry & Big Sean. Camila Cabello's 'OMG' looks likely to be the only new release to make the Top 40, whilst Duke Dumont & Gorgon City's 'Real Life' may climb into the Top 40 after narrowly missing out last week. Its a sparse week for new albums this week too, leaving the #1 free for Arcade Fire or Ed Sheeran to take. Coldplay released the physical format for their Kaleidoscope EP this week, but whether it will now be able to chart remains to be seen. Breakdown of the week - Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted. - Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Other notes (please read) - You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod). - Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue. - Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. - To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads. |

At least next week we have Avicii to spice things up, but for this week... yawn.

Now that's what I call a dull week (a potential compilation album ), hopefully Calvin and his Friends will get the #1, Descapito is really getting old now.
I remember a few years back we had Daft Punk and Avicii hitting big numbers at #1 |

I don't consider it a dull week with respect to the fact we have a fierce battle for number 1, at least.

My figures for the weekend have Despacito nailed on for Number 1 this week. Calvin and Co should move to Number 2 with New Rules completing the Top 5.

Please can Despacito hold on long enough for New Rules to potentially get there (or something out of nowhere).

Really hoping Dua gets a good climb this week. Would love to see it go top 3 this week, but I know top 5 is more likely.

Despacito has Number 1 in the bag this week barring a collapse of some sort.
