Biography
Indie pop singer Dua Lipa showcased a throwback vibe and knack for catchy pop with soulful grit, much like Sia, Jessie J, or P!nk, and a slyly rebellious air like Charli XCX and Marina & the Diamonds. Born and raised in London to Kosovar-Albanian parents, the sultry-voiced pop singer attended Sylvia Young Theater School (Rita Ora, Amy Winehouse) until the age of 13, when she moved to Kosovo with her family. However, the move wouldn't last very long, as she was back in London by age 15, living on her own and pursuing a singing career. Her first demos were released in 2012, attracting the attention of Lana Del Rey's management team, who signed her and linked her up with Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey, Bruno Mars). Her shimmery debut single "New Love" was followed up with the soulful "Be the One." - iTunes

Biography
Fifth Harmony is an American girl group formed on the second season of the The X Factor USA in July 2012. The group consists of members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui. They signed a joint deal with Syco Music, owned by Simon Cowell, and Epic Records, L.A. Reid's record label, after finishing in third place on the show. Since then, they have released an EP and a full-length album.
Following their exit from The X Factor, they released their debut single "Miss Movin' On". Their debut EP, Better Together was released in 2013 with a first week position of number six on the U.S. Billboard 200. The following year, they won the Artist to Watch award at the MTV Video Music Awards. The group released their debut studio album, Reflection in February 2015. It debuted at number five on the Billboard 200, selling 62,000 copies in the first week and was supported by the group's first major headlining tour, The Reflection Tour. The album included the singles "BO$$", "Sledgehammer" and the U.S. triple platinum "Worth It". The latter also became the group's first top 20 single on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached the top 10 in eight countries. Fifth Harmony has emerged as the most successful alumni from the X Factor U.S. franchise. - Wikipedia

Here for the first time in ages!
go on Calvin Harris smash at #1 please like that's got any chance of happening tho :'(
I'm loving this new OneRepublic song
(when did they start playing new songs at the start??)
It seems they're playing their Track of the Day at the start of the chart show every week then and JT wasn't a one-off..
The chart show now doing chart breakers at the beginning of the show instead of the end of the show when it was on Sunday's
No mention of The Stone Roses in chart news?
I'm loving this OneRepublic though!
Bit stupid doing that if the NE from 26-40 are ignored!

Biography
The fashionable, fun, and sometimes freaky sound of Milan-born DJ/producer Benny Benassi first hit the charts under that name in 2002 with the electro-meets-house single "Satisfaction." Created in collaboration with his cousin Alle -- in a team that would become known as the Benassi Bros. -- it was praised by high-profile DJs such as Carl Cox, Darren Emerson, and Roger Sanchez. Although "Satisfaction" charted internationally, it wasn't the first time that Benassi had tasted success. In 2001, under the name KMC, he had worked with vocalist Dhany on the infectious "I Feel So Fine," which initially stormed the Italian charts before it hit the number one spot in the U.K. By September 2003, the campy and quirky Hypnotica was issued as Benassi's solo debut album in collaboration with the Biz, a vocal team that featured Paul French and Violeta. A year later, Pumphonia marked the first full-length release under the Benassi Bros. name, and by the end of 2004 he had won the European Borders Breakers Award for Hypnotica, when it racked up the most sales that year for an Italian album outside of Italy. A second Benassi Bros. album, ...Phobia, appeared in 2005 before he went on to consolidate and improve his reputation on the DJ circuit with a number of prestigious headline festival performances. His summer 2007 remix of Public Enemy's "Bring the Noise" went on to win a Grammy in early 2008, further enhancing his profile and leading to work with big names such as David Bowie and Madonna. Summer 2008 brought another solo album, Rock 'n' Rave, but it was 2011's Electroman that featured some of his most internationally successful material: the Kelis-fronted "Spaceship," the Chris Brown-led "Beautiful People," and the Gary Go collaboration "Cinema." The year 2012 was marked by Benassi's production work on Madonna's MDNA, and 2013 brought "Dance the Pain Away," a solo single that featured John Legend. - iTunes

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) better known as simply Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. He was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He first garnered recognition for his role as Jimmy Brooks on the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. He later rose to prominence as a rapper, releasing several mixtapes before signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009.

Drake, along with being a record producer under the pseudonym Champagne Papi, has also written songs for other artists, including Alicia Keys ("Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)"), Rita Ora ("R.I.P."), Jamie Foxx and Trey Songz. - Wikipedia

Biography
Selena Marie Gomez (/səˈliːnə məˈriː ˈɡoʊmɛz/ sə-LEE-nə mə-REE GOH-mez; Spanish pronunciation: [seˈlena ˈɣomes]; born July 22, 1992) is an American singer and actress. She was first featured on the children's series Barney & Friends in the early 2000s. In 2007, Gomez came to prominence after being cast in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, in which she starred as the lead character, Alex Russo, until its conclusion in 2012. She formed the band Selena Gomez & the Scene after signing a recording contract with Hollywood Records in 2008; they released the studio albums Kiss & Tell (2009), A Year Without Rain (2010), and When the Sun Goes Down (2011) before beginning a hiatus in 2012.
Gomez entered the film industry with star billings in feature films including Ramona and Beezus (2010), Monte Carlo (2011), and Hotel Transylvania (2012). She embraced an increasingly mature public image with her star billing in the film Spring Breakers (2013) and her 2013 debut solo studio album, Stars Dance. The latter project debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "Come & Get It." Gomez was released from her recording contract with Hollywood Records following the completion of her compilation album For You (2014). She subsequently signed with Interscope Records to continue work on her sophomore studio album, Revival (2015). It debuted at number one in the US and featured the top-ten singles "Good for You", "Same Old Love" and "Hands to Myself."
Beyond entertainment, Gomez has ventured into other endeavors. She has worked with numerous organizations for charitable causes, and has most notably worked with UNICEF for several years. She formed her own production company, July Moon Productions, in 2008. In late 2010, Gomez launched a clothing line she called "Dream Out Loud" through Kmart. - Wikipedia

Biography - Cheat Codes
Los Angeles-based electronic trio Cheat Codes debuted in 2015 with their single "Visions," a floor-filling, radio-ready bite of house in a vein similar to Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. The three members of the group -- Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, and Kevin Ford -- each have deep roots in L.A., working on individual projects before joining forces for Cheat Codes (Dahl once performed as singer/songwriter Pluginstereo). Their different backgrounds helped inform Cheat Codes' stylistically varied sound, which can range from warm pop to outright big house bangers. After the release of "Visions," they quickly followed with the tropical-tinged "Don't Say No" (featuring Dresses), "Senses" (featuring Lostboycrow), and "Adventure" (featuring Evan Wartner). As they gained social media exposure, they joined the Chainsmokers on tour. Successive singles continued to drop into 2016, when they unveiled "Sex" (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam), which borrowed the sentiment and chorus from the Salt-N- Pepa classic "Let's Talk About Sex." - iTunes
Biography - Kris Kross Amsterdam
Named in tribute to the early-'90s adolescent rap duo Kris Kross, Dutch DJ collective Kris Kross Amsterdam was created by brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman in 2011 when the duo established a club night in order to play the music they grew up with rather than the popular dance music that dominated the club scene. Spinning a diverse mix of R&B, hip-hop, funk, and house, the concept turned out to be a success, and the duo sold out many club nights in Amsterdam. After several years of gigs and mixtapes, as well as establishing a clothing line, the duo began collaborating with MC Yuki Kempees and working on original material in 2014. Kris Kross Amsterdam signed to Spinnin' Records and released the trap-tinged R&B single "Until the Morning" in 2015. Second single "SEX" followed in early 2016, a quasi-cover of Salt-N-Pepa's "Let's Talk About Sex" featuring assistance from Los Angeles' Cheat Codes. - iTunes

Great to see a new peak for Nick Jonas, it's far from over for that song either!
Glad will & Pia actually made it but gutted they missed the playzone. Oh well, it will climb next week as he's on tonight's Graham Norton
Not heard Paradise (and don't want to either!). Same with Controlla.
Hands To Myself is still fantastic
Completely forgot Say You Do existed!
Dancing On My Own Nice cover but shame its not the original!
Not heard this either
The Sound Of Silence is really nice!
Still hate Pillowtalk
Love Close, hope it can become massive
Sorry is pretty old now, bored of it!
Hate Hymn so much!
Me, Myself & I is quite good and same with Roses
And so bored of Love Yourself also
Boys and Girls is ok but I'm already bored of it
I still like Stitches but don't completely adore it like I used to This is the first time I've heard it in ages though!

Biography
Coldplay are a British rock band formed in 1996 by lead vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland at University College London. After they formed under the name Pectoralz, Guy Berryman joined the group as a bassist and they changed their name to Starfish. Will Champion joined as a drummer, backing vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, completing the line-up. Manager Phil Harvey is often considered an unofficial fifth member. The band renamed themselves "Coldplay" in 1998, before recording and releasing three EPs; Safety in 1998, Brothers & Sisters as a single in 1999 and The Blue Room in the same year. The latter was their first release on a major label, after signing to Parlophone.
They achieved worldwide fame with the release of the single "Yellow" in 2000, followed by their debut album released in the same year, Parachutes, which was nominated for the Mercury Prize. The band's second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), was released to critical acclaim and won multiple awards, including NME's Album of the Year. They have also come top of the BBC Radio 2 poll of the favourite album of all time. Their next release, X&Y, the best-selling album worldwide in 2005, was met with mostly positive reviews upon its release, though some critics felt that it was inferior to its predecessor. The band's fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), was produced by Brian Eno and released again to largely positive reviews, earning several Grammy nominations and wins at the 51st Grammy Awards. On 24 October 2011, they released their fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto, which received mixed to positive reviews, topped the charts in over 34 countries, and was the UK's best-selling rock album of 2011.
The band have won a number of music awards throughout their career, including eight Brit Awards—winning Best British Group three times—five MTV Video Music Awards and seven Grammy Awards from 25 nominations. Coldplay have sold more than 80 million records worldwide. In December 2009, Rolling Stone readers voted the group the fourth-best artist of the 2000s. Coldplay have been an active supporter of various social and political causes, such as Oxfam's Make Trade Fair campaign and Amnesty International. The group have also performed at various charity projects such as Band Aid 20, Live 8, Sound Relief, Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief, The Secret Policeman's Ball, Sport Relief and the UK's Teenage Cancer Trust. - Wikipedia

Biography
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (/biːˈjɒnseɪ/ bee-YON-say) (born September 4, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child, and rose to fame in the late 1990s as lead singer of R&B girl-group Destiny's Child. Managed by her father, Mathew Knowles, the group became one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. Their hiatus saw the release of Beyoncé's debut album, Dangerously in Love (2003), which established her as a solo artist worldwide, earned five Grammy Awards and featured the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy".
Following the disbandment of Destiny's Child in June 2005, she released her second solo album, B'Day (2006), which contained hits "Déjà Vu", "Irreplaceable", and "Beautiful Liar". Beyoncé also ventured into acting, with a Golden Globe-nominated performance in Dreamgirls (2006), and starring roles in The Pink Panther (2006) and Obsessed (2009). Her marriage to rapper Jay Z and portrayal of Etta James in Cadillac Records (2008) influenced her third album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008), which saw the birth of her alter-ego Sasha Fierce and earned a record-setting six Grammy Awards in 2010, including Song of the Year for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)". Beyoncé took a hiatus from music in 2010 and took over management of her career; her fourth album 4 (2011) was subsequently mellower in tone, exploring 1970s funk, 1980s pop, and 1990s soul. Her critically acclaimed fifth studio album, Beyoncé (2013), was distinguished from previous releases by its experimental production and exploration of darker themes.
A self-described "modern-day feminist", Beyoncé creates songs that are often characterized by themes of love, relationships, and monogamy, as well as female sexuality and empowerment. On stage, her dynamic, highly choreographed performances have led to critics hailing her as one of the best entertainers in contemporary popular music. Throughout a career spanning 19 years, she has sold over 118 million records as a solo artist, and a further 60 million with Destiny's Child, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. She has won 20 Grammy Awards and is the most nominated woman in the award's history. The Recording Industry Association of America recognized her as the Top Certified Artist in America during the 2000s decade. In 2009, Billboard named her the Top Radio Songs Artist of the Decade, the Top Female Artist of the 2000s and their Artist of the Millennium in 2011. Time listed her among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2013 and 2014. Forbes magazine also listed her as the most powerful female musician of 2015. - Wikipedia

Hold Up isn't bad. Quite enjoyable actually.
Beyoncé's album has some good stuff on it, but 'Hold Up' honestly annoys the hell out of me.
"Hold Up" would be higher if she put her album on Spotify
Hold Up is far from the best on Lemonade, but I do enjoy it. Sorry/All Night/6 Inch are a lot better.
'Hold Up' was co-written by Ezra Koenig, after finding that out I can hear a bit of Vampire Weekend in the song!

I'm expecting a big climb for this one next week, since it's on Spotify now, could even sneak into the top 10.
Todays chart seems so much better - Greg hasn't screwed up, there is so much fresh music in the chart right now and I love the fact they're playing shorter clips of older songs and giving a preview of a big new entry next week.

SO FAST
Rihanna getting yet another top 40 hit what a queen.
this is my first time hearing this, on first listen it's not exactly as good as their other collaborations.
Well, this isn't too bad, I guess.
Oh, and this is brilliant
One of my faves from Views - and thats some praise
When a Drake album has more "Rihanna-like tracks" than a Rihanna album.

That was bad on first listen! And still hate Stressed Out
Eh, this is not as awful as other recent Drake songs but I do still fundamentally dislike that it's done so well as part of making the charts into an album showcase for a minority of 'chosen' artists.
'Expect that to climb' is getting a little old...
They should be one place higher then fall drastically
Stressed Out is still enjoyable.
damn, can't we have one more week of TOP being at #21 before it leaves the play zone?

Biography
Meghan Elizabeth Trainor (born December 22, 1993) is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in Nantucket, Massachusetts, Trainor wrote, recorded, performed and produced three independently-released albums between ages 15 and 17. In 2011, she signed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music, and pursued a career in songwriting.
After signing a record deal with Epic Records in 2014, Trainor rose to fame with the release of her major-label debut studio album, Title (2015). The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, went on to sell over one million copies domestically, and produced four top 20 singles: "All About That Bass", "Lips Are Movin", "Dear Future Husband", and "Like I'm Gonna Lose You". Her second major release, Thank You, is scheduled for release on May 13, 2016, preceded by its lead single "No", which has reached the top-three on the Billboard Hot 100.
Prominently influenced by the 1950s and 1960s eras in music, Trainor's music has been noted for its retro style aesthetic. Common themes in her lyrics include subjects of modern womanhood, body image, and empowerment. Trainor's work has been recognized with several awards and nominations, including a Grammy Award, Music Business Association's Breakthrough Artist of the Year accolade and two Billboard Music Awards. - Wikipedia

No is still absolutely incredible, in my top 2 of the year so far
No is still great.
(If only everything could drop this fast though, the charts would be so much better)
NO is really good
For the first time in a while, I genuinely have no clue who'll be number one today ~ I've been anticipating this all day, its not often we have three songs in such close contention for the top spot. (don't spoil it for me pls)
NO is amazing!

London-based electronic dance producer Jonas Blue caught the attention of the industry with his reimagining of Tracy Chapman's 1988 hit "Fast Car." Adding a tropical house tint to the plaintive, bittersweet acoustic original, Blue enlisted the talents of young British singer Dakota, whose sultry vocals helped carry the song to the top of the Australian charts. - iTunes

Biography
Robyn Rihanna Fenty (/riˈænə/ ree-an-ə), (born February 20, 1988) is a Barbadian singer and songwriter. Born in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown, she first entered the music industry by recording demo tapes under the direction of record producer Evan Rogers in 2003. She ultimately signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for its then-president, hip-hop producer and rapper Jay Z. Rihanna's first two studio albums Music of the Sun (2005) and A Girl Like Me (2006) charted on the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard 200 and respectively produced the singles "Pon de Replay" and "SOS".
She assumed creative control of her third studio album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) and became a household name following the release of its international successful lead single "Umbrella". She followed it with five Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) platinum-certified albums, including the Grammy Award winner Unapologetic (2012) and her second Billboard 200 number-one album Anti (2016). Many of her songs rank among the world's best-selling singles of all time, including the singles "Umbrella", "Take a Bow", "Disturbia", "Only Girl (In the World)", "S&M", "We Found Love", "Diamonds" and "Stay" in which she is the lead artist, and her collaborations "Live Your Life" (with T.I.), "Love the Way You Lie" and "The Monster" (both with Eminem).
With sales exceeding 200 million records worldwide, Rihanna is one of the best-selling artists of all time. Rihanna is the youngest and fastest solo artist to earn fourteen number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, and was named the Digital Songs Artist of the 2000s decade and the top Hot 100 artist of the 2010s decade by Billboard. Among numerous awards and accolades, Rihanna has won eight Grammy Awards; eight American Music Awards; 23 Billboard Music Awards; two BRIT Awards; and was awarded the inaugural Icon Award at the American Music Awards of 2013. Widely recognized for frequently reinventing her style and image, she received the Fashion Icon lifetime achievement award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2014. Forbes ranked Rihanna the fourth most powerful celebrity of 2012, and was named one of Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World later that year. - Wikipedia

Biography
Ariana Grande-Butera (born June 26, 1993), known professionally as Ariana Grande (/ˌɑriːˈɑːnə ˈɡrɑːndeɪ/), is an American singer and actress. She began her career in the Broadway musical 13, before landing the role of Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon television series Victorious in 2009. After four seasons, the show ended, and Grande starred on the spinoff, Sam & Cat, which ended in 2014. She has also appeared in other theatre, television and film roles and lent her voice to animated television and films.
Grande's music career began with the soundtrack Music from Victorious (2011). She signed a recording contract with Republic Records and released her debut studio album, Yours Truly in 2013, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The album's lead single, "The Way", reached the top-ten of the Billboard Hot 100, with critics comparing her wide vocal range to Mariah Carey. Her second studio album, My Everything (2014), also reached number one in the United States. With the singles "Problem", "Break Free", "Bang Bang" and "Love Me Harder" from that album, she spent 34 continuous weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and had the most top 10 singles of any artist in 2014. In 2015, she is promoting My Everything with her first international tour titled The Honeymoon Tour and currently guest-starring in Fox comedy-horror TV series Scream Queens.
Some of Grande's accolades include New Artist of the Year at the 2013 American Music Awards, Music Business Association's Breakthrough Artist of the Year, "Best Pop Video" at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, "Best Song" and "Best Female" at the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards. - Wikipedia

Biography
From the free-living enclave of Christiania in Copenhagen, Lukas Graham and his boys -- Mark "Lovestick" Falgren on drums, Kasper Daugaard on keys, and Magnus "Magnum" Larsson on bass -- crafted a combination of funky pop and R&B stylings, which made them popular in their home country of Denmark. With his soulful delivery and honest lyrics, Graham recounted tales of family strife, poor decisions, and the celebration of life, all inextricably entwined with his years spent in Christiania. The young Graham's musical influences ranged from classical -- gained during his childhood experiences with the Copenhagen Boys' Choir -- to the Beatles and the Stones, as well as the Prodigy and Dr. Dre, whose Chronic 2001 was one of the most influential albums for Graham. Despite a less-privileged childhood, his parents were strong role models and much of that love was reflected in his heartfelt songs, like "Mama Said" and "Moving Alone." In early 2012, he released his first album, a self-titled effort that included "Drunk in the Morning," which went on to become a hit throughout Europe. Once they received more international exposure, they were signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2013. A second self-titled album -- nicknamed the "Blue Album" -- was released in late 2015 and featured the international hit "7 Years." - iTunes

Biography
Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu (born 7 November 1988), better known by his stage name Tinie Tempah, is an English rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has been signed to Parlophone Records since 2009, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. He created his own record and fashion label Disturbing London (DL Records) in 2007 along with his cousin, Dumi Oburota.
After releasing a couple of mixtapes, he released his long-awaited debut album, Disc-Overy, in October 2010. Preceded by two British number-one singles; "Pass Out" and "Written in the Stars", the album charted at number one and was certified Platinum the next year. In February 2011, he won two Brit Awards for Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Single.
In November 2013, he released his second album, entitled Demonstration. Preceded by top ten singles "Trampoline" and "Children of the Sun", the album charted at number three and was certified gold by the BPI the next year. In June 2015, he released the first single from his upcoming third album, entitled "Not Letting Go". This gave Tempah his sixth UK number one, the most by any rap artist. However, on the week of 23 October 2015, Tempah earned his seventh UK number one single with "Turn the Music Louder (Rumble)", a song by KDA, which also features English singer-songwriter Katy B. - Wikipedia

Biography
Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011, consisting of members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson. They were formed exclusively for the eighth series of The X Factor in 2011 and became the first, and so far, only group to win the competition. Following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single.
Little Mix released their debut album DNA in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US. This made Little Mix the first girl group since The Pussycat Dolls to reach the US top 5 with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut US chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls. In the UK, the album spawned the number-one single "Wings". The group's sophomore effort "Salute" which was released in 2013, became their second album to debut inside the top 10 in both the UK and US. The album produced two top 10 singles in their home country; "Move" and "Salute". In 2015 Little Mix released their third studio album "Get Weird" which became their highest peaking and selling album in the UK. The album's lead single "Black Magic" became the groups third number one single in the UK and was also nominated for two Brit Awards in 2016. After being together as a group since 2011, they have achieved three platinum certified albums and eight certified singles in the UK. Also as of 2016, Little Mix are the only girl group from the UK to have three albums peak within the top 15 of the US Billboard 200. - Wikipedia

Biography
A talented Swedish vocalist and songwriter with a penchant for crafting soulful electro-pop that falls somewhere between Rihanna, Lorde, and Robyn, Zara Maria Larsson first caught the public's eyes and ears in 2008 as the winner of the popular Swedish talent show Talang Sverige (the regional version of Got Talent). Born on December 16, 1997 in Stockholm, Larsson inked a deal with Ten Music Group after winning Talang, and issued her debut EP, Introducing, which featured the hit single "Uncover," in 2013. The song was certified triple platinum in her home country, and after another EP, Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself, Larsson began work on her official debut long-player. The resulting 1 arrived in 2014 via Record Company Ten and Universal Music. Three additional singles reached the Swedish Top Ten: "She's Not Me," "Carry You Home," and "Rooftop." A pair of new singles for 2015 proved to be her international breakthrough; first "Lush Life" reached the Top Ten across Europe, then "Never Forget You" (featuring MNEK) hit the Top Ten in Great Britain. - iTunes

Biography
Featuring Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw from Style of Eye, Galantis are a Swedish superduo who represent the place where EDM and pop meet. Karlsson (the man behind hits like Britney Spears' "Toxic") met Eklöw (the man behind hits like Icona Pop's "I Love It") at the Robotberget studio in Stockholm. Their mutual admiration society turned into a project once they began discussing a more poignant style of EDM that retained pop's passion. The duo set up shop on the Stockholm archipelago in the Baltic Sea, began recording, and released the "Smile" single on the Atlantic label in late 2013. The hit single "Runaway (U & I)" followed in 2014, while their debut effort, Pharmacy, landed a year later. The album featured two new singles, "Gold Dust" and "Peanut Butter Jelly." - iTunes

Biography
Singer Mike Posner launched his career at Duke University, where he balanced his undergraduate studies in sociology and business with his musical habits. Like fellow undergrad Asher Roth, Posner began making melodic pop-rap songs for the college crowd, filling his music with references to fraternity culture, dorm life, and young adulthood. He also compiled several mixtapes, one of which -- A Matter of Time -- topped the digital charts during the summer of 2009. After signing with J Records, he finished his degree, graduated with a 3.59 GPA, and released his full-length debut, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, in the summer of 2010. The album featured the worldwide hit "Cooler Than Me," and reached the Top Ten in the U.S. J Records dissolved soon after, and Posner moved to the parent label, RCA, but only after some legal wrangling, which was referenced in the title to his 2011 mixtape, The Layover. His career with RCA officially began late that same year with the December release of "Looks Like Sex." Two more singles, "The Way It Used to Be" and "Top of the World" (featuring Big Sean), followed in 2013 as preludes to his second official album, Pages. - iTunes

Biography
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (born 18 December 1975), sometimes referred to mononymously as Sia (/ˈsiːə/), is an Australian singer and songwriter. She started her career as a singer in the local Adelaide acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album titled OnlySee on Flavoured Records in Australia. Following the event, she moved to London, England and provided lead vocals for British duo Zero 7.
In 2000, Sia signed to Sony Music's sub-label Dance Pool and released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, the following year. Displeased with the promotion of the record, she signed to Go! Beat and released her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004. Dissatisfied with the project's struggling to connect with a mainstream audience, Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and began touring across the United States. Sia released her fourth and fifth studio releases, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. In 2014, Sia released her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, which was preceded by the top-ten single "Chandelier". On 29 January 2016, she released her seventh studio album This Is Acting.
Sia's music incorporates hip hop, funk and soul as a base for her vocal styling. In 2014, she was ranked the 97th richest Australian person under the age of 40 by BRW magazine, with a reported net worth of AU$20 million. Her music has received an array of accolades, including ARIA Awards and MTV Music Awards. - Wikipedia

Biography
Justin Randall Timberlake (born January 31, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, he appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child. In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC, which eventually became one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. During the group's hiatus, Timberlake released his debut solo album, the R&B-focused Justified (2002), which included the successful singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body", and earned his first two Grammy Awards.
His critically acclaimed second album, FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006), characterized by its wide range of musical influences, debuted atop the US Billboard 200 and produced the Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles "SexyBack", "My Love", and "What Goes Around... Comes Around". With his first two albums exceeding sales of 10 million copies worldwide, he was established as one of the most commercially successful singers of the decade. He also has collaborated with other artists, including "Give It to Me" (with Timbaland) and "4 Minutes" (with Madonna). From 2008 through 2012, Timberlake focused on his acting career, effectively putting his music career on hiatus; he held starring roles in the films The Social Network, Bad Teacher, In Time, and Friends with Benefits.
In 2013, Timberlake resumed his music career with his third and fourth albums The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, exploring neo soul styles with the song structures of 1960s and 1970s rock. The former became the best-selling album of the year in the US with the largest sales week, and spawned the top-three singles "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors", while the latter produced the top-ten song "Not a Bad Thing". In 2016, Timberlake will voice the lead character in DreamWorks Animation's Trolls, accompanied by the release of the song "Can't Stop the Feeling". Cemented as a touring solo artist, Timberlake plays several instruments in his live performances, accompanied by his band, The Tennessee Kids. Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2007 and 2013. Timberlake's work has earned him numerous awards, including nine Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, and four Emmy Awards, the latter being for his appearances on Saturday Night Live. His other ventures include record label Tennman Records, fashion label William Rast, and the restaurants Destino and Southern Hospitality. - Wikipedia

Biography
Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), known professionally as Calvin Harris, is a Scottish DJ, singer, songwriter, record producer, recording artist and remixer. His debut studio album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and was the precursor to his top-10 singles "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". In 2009, Harris released his second studio album, Ready for the Weekend, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and earned a gold certification from the British Phonographic Industry within two months of release. Its lead single, "I'm Not Alone", became his first number one on the UK Singles Chart.
Harris rose to international prominence in 2012 with the release of his third studio album, 18 Months. Topping the UK charts, the album became his first to chart on the Billboard 200 in the US, reaching number 19. All eight of the album's singles; "Bounce", "Let's Go", "We'll Be Coming Back", "Sweet Nothing", "Drinking from the Bottle", "I Need Your Love", "Thinking About You" and "Feel So Close", along with "We Found Love" reached the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart.
Harris has collaborated with numerous other recording artists, including Kylie Minogue, Rita Ora, John Newman, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, Ne-Yo, Cheryl Cole and Gwen Stefani. His collaboration with Rihanna led to two singles, "Where Have You Been" and "We Found Love". The latter became an international success, giving Harris his first US number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Harris released his fourth studio album, Motion, in November 2014. It debuted at number two in the UK and number five in the US, and became Harris's second consecutive number-one album on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart. The album's first three singles—"Under Control", "Summer" and "Blame"—all topped the UK chart.
Harris holds the record for the most top 10 songs from one studio album on the UK Singles Chart with nine top 10 entries, surpassing Michael Jackson. In October 2014, he became the first artist to place three songs simultaneously on the top 10 of Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He also became the first British solo artist to reach more than one billion streams on Spotify. Harris has received ten Brit Award nominations—three for Best British Male, and four Grammy nominations, winning a Grammy for Best Music Video in 2013. He received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year in 2013 and at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards was named Top Dance/Electronic Artist. Additionally, Harris topped Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid DJs for three consecutive years from 2013 to 2015. Harris also runs his own record label Fly Eye Records. - Wikipedia

Biography
Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) better known as simply Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. He was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He first garnered recognition for his role as Jimmy Brooks on the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. He later rose to prominence as a rapper, releasing several mixtapes before signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009.
Drake's EP, So Far Gone (2009), spawned the successful single "Best I Ever Had". His first studio album, Thank Me Later (2010), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and generated the single "Find Your Love". It was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His second album, Take Care (2011), is his most successful to date, topping charts in the United States and Canada and producing the singles "Take Care", "Make Me Proud" and "The Motto", the last of which is also credited for popularizing the widely used acronym YOLO. In promotion of his second album, Drake embarked on the worldwide Club Paradise Tour, which became the most successful hip-hop tour of 2012, grossing over $42 million. His third studio album Nothing Was the Same was released on September 24, 2013. It was supported by the singles "Started from the Bottom" and "Hold On, We're Going Home".
His work has earned him a Grammy Award, three Juno Awards, six BET Awards, and set several significant Billboard charts records. Drake has the most number-one singles on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart with 12 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs with 10. He is one of two artists (the other being 50 Cent) to have simultaneously occupied the chart's top three positions.
Drake, along with being a record producer under the pseudonym Champagne Papi, has also written songs for other artists, including Alicia Keys ("Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)"), Rita Ora ("R.I.P."), Jamie Foxx and Trey Songz. - Wikipedia

To be fair, I'm not a massive fan of any of the songs in the top 3 at the moment.
Drake #1 for a 5th week

'this is what you came for' is so good ~ fingers crossed it can eventually reach #1
5 weeks @ #1 for drake tho *.*
Don't like the top 3 but poor Rihanna, being denied a no.1 for this year by bland Wheelchair Jimmy

'This Is What You Came For' what an absolute bangin' choooooooonnnnn
Drake could you kindly let Calvin have a week soon plzthnksbye
YESS Drake holding off that boring Calvin/Rihanna overrated shet off #1 again i'm sure it's only a matter of time before it overtakes but i'll just enjoy this moment~
I really don't get how One Dance is loved so much/ been such a big hit?
To me it just sounds so generic and bland and I can't even see the appeal in it.
One Dance is HUGE still.
Hopefully it will be third time lucky for Calvin next week seeing as Drake's sales and streaming are decreasing
Drake's album has been released to Spotify today so One Dance's streams are guaranteed to increase a fair bit this week, he'll keep the #1.
Amazing stuff for One Dance, may this run just go on & on!
Much fresher chart this week is great to see, 2 more Drake entries is fab Great to see Sex & Paradise also enter too. Just a shame Disturbed fell
