Yeah, I think "people are eagerly awaiting like crazy" is a bit of a stretch. As Jay said above, a successful first era is no guarantee of a successful second era and I do feel she could have come back a little bit sooner, but it's basically all going to depend on how good the material is. Hopefully the quality is still there and she smashes but we'll see.

I know a few people are thinking this will be a "sophomore slump" but I actually think it's going to be the opposite. I think this will be to 'SOUR' what 'Future Nostalgia' is to 'DUA LIPA'. Idk, I just think she's the first "Tik Tok" star of this generation. Her song was the first time a new artist seemed to blow up over Tik Tok (and at such a speedy rate too!)

Ofc we shall see, but yeah, expecting big things for this era. Will it be for me? We'll see. I liked 'SOUR' but I don't really go back to it.

I think she has played it right with her time away. Not that long ago people have forgotten her but close enough to drive curiosity streams and afford strong radio/stream playlisting. Here’s hoping this album will be as cohesive as Sour.

Probably due to the large amount of CDs/Vinyls etc that have been pre-ordered? Although we do only have a couple snippets. laugh.gif
