Hello and welcome to the first ever chart forum edition of Never Mind The Buzzjacks! As this is the first time this has been done and many of you will be new to this, here are the rules: - You listen to the track below, which consists of 25 different clips of tracks that were UK hits in varying capacities (all reached top 75, the ones that peaked lower are well known enough so dw I wasn't horrible obscure ). You just have to guess both the artist and track, for 1 point, but if you know just the artist or just the track then you can have half a point because I'm nice like that. - I tried to vary the tracks to make them accessible enough in general and there'll be something for everyone I hope, genre and time period wise. - You are encouraged to guess if you don't know, because if you stab at an artist that it might be, you could get that precious half a point and every little helps! - There are also 5 bonus questions to add a different dimension to this, meaning that there are 30 points up for grabs in total. You could easily guess at these too based on the sound of the songs or something, I'd encourage you to stab in the dark at least - PM me (Liam) your answers by Monday 11th June at 6pm with results that evening, to make it easily formatted just copy and paste from the template above the participants and add your answers instead of the timestamp thing! Bonus questions: Which song peaked the lowest of these 25? Which song sold the most of these 25? Which song will be the most guessed of these 25 by participants? Which song will be the least guessed of these 25 by participants? Which song is my personal favourite of these 25? Songs: As youtube have taken away the ability to add annotations, I'll have to signpost where the songs start and which isn't ideal - they should be clear when the song changes anyway but: 1) 00:00-00:17 2) 00:17-00:36 3) 00:36-1:07 4) 1:07-1:32 5) 1:32-1:55 6) 1:55-2:08 7) 2:08-2:38 8) 2:38-2:56 9) 2:56-3:17 10) 3:17-3:40 11) 3:40-3:55 12) 3:55-4:07 13) 4:07-4:24 14) 4:24-4:41 15) 4:41-4:57 16) 4:57-5:10 17) 5:10-5:31 18) 5:31-5:45 19) 5:45-6:06 20) 6:06-6:24 21) 6:24-6:53 22) 6:53-7:07 23) 7:07-7:33 24) 7:33-7:48 25) 7:48-8:18 Participants: DanG vibe Dircadirca TS031 Mack Yorkie3 Bjork Dalekturret HarryEzra Dexton Chez Wombat Zarate Chrissmith276 LewisGT CianS Jade Theo Rush Dobbo 777666Jason Sarah Riser PeteFromLeeds gavindeejay Ultraviolence Bray |

There’s only a handful of these I don’t recognise on first listen! I’ll take NMTBJ over Family Feud anyday tbh (because I suck at FF)

I think I got 22 of these on first listen! Hope I can maybe work out another over the course of the week. I remember your 2015 NMTBJ being the best I've ever done; I like your choices. Not sure there's a Brooke Fraser-esque Australian advantage this time though
Also, do you know that the 'a' in your username is the Cyrillic 'a' character, not the typical Latin one? They look the same, but because it's technically a different character, your name doesn't get highlighted when you ctrl+f 'Liam', which is how I noticed. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but it might make it harder to send you PMs. |

I know the one you'd expect me to know, and quite a few of the obvious ones, but I can see myself failing miserably at this looking at how easily some people got 20+ of them on first listen

Don't forget to partake guys. Guaranteed leaderboard points unless there happens to be more than 30 of you.

Yep more please, only 8 so far which is a little disappointing :/ I'll send reminders and advertise round the forum a bit so hopefully end up with a good number by the end!

I'll do this tomorrow, I'm sure I'll only know about 2 of them as ever with NMTBJ

LOVED this round Liam sending in my answers now, I think I have 24/25 correct don't think I've ever done this well in a NMTBJ round before if these indeed are definitely right. Had such a good run from #9 to #25, but I just can't put my finger on what #8 is. Can't wait to find out what that is Not feeling so confident about the bonus questions however, we'll see how they went.
