Former Fame Academy and X Factor contestant Carolynne Poole will soon be releasing her debut single 'I Love You But Shut Up' and it was played for this first time on BBC Radio 2 today! Check it out via BBC iPlayer Radio and skip along to exactly 53 minutes in! Gives me Carrie Underwood vibes, would be fabulous if BBC Radio 2 decided to support Carolynne although I'm not sure I can see it happening. |

That cover
I'm so excited this is finally happening though and can't wait to hear it! My favourite by a long shot during her year of XF. |

Haha, it's not a great cover is it! But the main thing is that it's a great song!
You can listen to it already if you go to the BBC iPlayer link in the original post, there's only 1 day left before it becomes unavailable so you need to be quick! |

Playlisted on BBC Radio 2, so so pleased for her! Of course we all know her from Fame Academy originally and nearly 15 years on she's finally got a single playlisted on a major (the most listened to?) UK radio station.

I like the song, it's harmless enough, but it's not bowling me over. She has a bloody fantastic voice, which is stronger now than it was back in her Fame Academy days and she deserves to do well, but I can't imagine her having any commercial success in the UK with this.
I shamelessly loved her version of Starships on X Factor too. |
