41 902 Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It? (40-15-11-13-27-37-29-31-37-20-12-17-13-12-16-25-35-...) [17+ wks]
42 884 Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry (34-18-13-11-10-8-9-8-10-13-23-26-34-33-54-52-65-73-xx-66-xx) [19 wks]
43 870 Post Malone feat. 21 Savage - rockstar (42-33-16-8-4-6-7-8-8-10-8-14-14-16-...) [14+ wks]
44 865 MK - 17 (33-29-24-23-24-25-23-19-14-12-12-9-7-9-12-...) [15+ wks]
45 850 CNCO & Little Mix - Reggaetón Lento (32-20-10-7-7-8-7-10-7-13-24-35-38-46-50-52-xx) [16 wks]

Just outside the top 40 now, and we see Buzzjack favourites Little Mix team up with Latin sensations CNCO to score another big hit. Strangely though, Reggaetón Lento stalled at #7 on four occasions, never making it any higher! MK scored a huge hit with 17 in the official charts and the multi followed, even matching in terms of its peak. UK #1 rockstar proved Buzzjack don't hate urban songs as much as they make out, as it made it up to #4 with solid longevity. Back to this site's comfort zone though, Demi Lovato scored a big top 10 with her love/hate comeback track Sorry Not Sorry (I love it *.*), and Taylor scores this year's 2nd highest non-top 10 hit with Ready For It.

36 936 DJ Khaled feat. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller - Wild Thoughts (26-8-6-5-5-5-4-5-9-7-13-20-28-32-48-63-72-xx) [17 wks]
37 924 Kesha - Praying (30-6-3-3-3-3-4-4-6-9-15-19-32-47-49-59-xx) [16 wks]
38 916 ZAYN & Taylor Swift - I Don't Wanna Live Forever (...-14-11-9-12-12-10-9-13-12-15-19-26-32-33-42-52-55-xx) [17 wks]
39 908 Sigala & Ella Eyre - Came Here For Love (35-12-7-3-2-2-6-6-6-6-15-21-22-35-54-xx) [15 wks]
40 907 Little Mix feat. Stormzy - Power (35-31-14-6-4-2-4-4-7-11-20-22-25-34-45-xx) [15 wks]

we enter the top 40 with the third of four Little Mix appearances, album highlight Power with added Stormzy cool.gif that peaked at #2 in the summer as did Sigala & Ella Eyre's collab Came Here For Love. ZAYN & Taylor's Fifty Shades whateveritwas single reached a peak of #9 twice- perhaps a reflection of quality that Liam & Rita's soundtrack single only took two weeks to achieve a higher position. Kesha's soaring and emotional ballad Praying went down a storm- picking up four weeks at #3. DJ Khaled brought a bit of Santana back to the charts with Wild Thoughts, one of the year's big summer anthems. I'm The One hasn't made the cut so it's not quite ~ANOTHER ONE~ but one is better than none amiriteeee

31 967 Harry Styles - Sign Of The Times (50-13-5-5-4-4-5-8-10-12-15-20-27-23-29-42-53-xx) [17 wks]
32 959 Martin Jensen - Solo Dance (44-33-27-27-23-14-12-10-7-7-7-11-14-19-21-33-46-64-67-75-xx) [20 wks]
33 956 Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa - Scared to Be Lonely (19-6-2-3-2-4-5-7-8-13-17-20-28-39-43-44-xx) [16 wks]
34 943 Disciples - On My Mind (47-26-14-9-4-3-3-3-7-7-14-20-25-31-32-39-70-xx-71-xx) [18 wks]
35 939 Marshmello feat. Khalid - Silence (72-51-39-41-32-28-17-20-16-7-9-9-9-15-13-13-19-19-...) [18+ wks]

Marshmello has become the most recent in-demand DJ, with his big marshmallow mask that totally isn't copying off of Deadmau5. He and Khalid both had a massive breakthrough hit last autumn with 'Silence'. House trio Disciples really impressed Buzzjack with their song 'On My Mind', as they spent three weeks at #3 (behind 'The Cure' and 'Symphony')! Martin Garrix catered to Buzzjack's tastes more blatantly, with a Dua Lipa collab that got to #2, kept from #1 by Dua herself ('Be The One') as well as Katy Perry. But it's Martin Jensen who wins the battle of the Martins at #32 with 'Solo Dance'. This peaked at #7 both officially and on the Multichart, but it had three weeks at #7 here compared to just one in the UK. And the only non-dance song in this section, Harry Styles' brilliant solo debut 'Sign Of The Times' is at #31, best known for finally dethroning Ed Sheeran's 'Shape Of You' after its 13th week at #1 in the UK!

26 997 J Balvin & Willy William - Mi Gente (36-39-24-12-14-13-16-18-14-15-17-19-17-23-28-32-33-43-53-62-71-...) [21+ wks]
27 992 Katy Perry feat. Skip Marley - Chained to the Rhythm (7-1-1-1-1-1-1-3-3-4-8-15-25-31-46-xx) [15 wks]
28 988 Charlie Puth - Attention (74-23-18-8-6-4-5-6-7-10-13-16-31-34-33-34-62-44-46-58-xx) [21 wks]
29 981 Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie - Rockabye (...-1-2-2-3-6-7-11-14-18-22-24-27-37-32-38-45-44-58-62-x) [19 wks]
30 972 Julia Michaels - Issues (56-48-27-23-21-33-30-28-21-17-14-12-12-12-10-14-18-20-59-73-xx) [20 wks]

Matching its UK peak, Julia Michaels' Issues racked up an impressive 20 weeks in the multichart despite only one of those being in the top 10. Clean Bandit's Rockabye was a huge #1 and spent the final of its eight weeks at the top in 2017, before a very good run amonst the rest of the chart. Charlie Puth's second appearance is at #28, proving he can convince the haters he'd amassed on Buzzjack after the (criminally underrated) Nine Track Mind era. Katy Perry's comeback was unsurprisingly a multi-week #1 smash, but its longevity left a lot to be desired. FREEZE! J Balvin and Willy William's Latin crossover smash Mi Gente was the only foreign language hit of last year not to require an English feature (although it eventually got one anyway when Beyoncé decided to ruin it). It's not the highest non-top 10 track in the countdown even...!

21 1048 Jax Jones feat. Demi Lovato & Stefflon Don - Instruction (74-14-6-7-3-3-4-5-4-4-5-7-9-18-27-33-44-53-xx) [18 wks]
22 1030 The Chainsmokers & Coldplay - Something Just Like This (50-16-10-4-3-4-4-6-8-9-18-23-25-26-30-32-37-55-71-67-68-xx) [22 wks]
23 1019 Miley Cyrus - Malibu (17-3-1-1-1-1-1-1-6-7-8-9-21-32-49-56-63-72-xx) [18 wks]
24 1017 Paloma Faith - Crybaby (26-11-10-9-10-9-9-9-10-11-10-16-22-23-23-29-38-...) [17+ wks]
25 1016 Steps - Scared Of The Dark (20-11-7-6-4-3-6-5-6-9-12-20-26-32-42-42-49-63-71-70-xx) [20 wks]

Steps brought us the campest of all comeback singles with Scared of the Dark, for which there was plenty of demand as it reached the Multi top 3. More comeback singles follow with Paloma Faith's Crybaby scoring four almost-consecutive weeks at #9, while Miley Cyrus's Malibu managed a whopping 6 weeks at the #1 spot (quite deserved as it's one of the better hits of last year x). The Chainsmokers & Coldplay premiered their big collab single on the Brits last year, it went on to reach #3. Jax Jones got out the tribal drums for his summer hit Instruction with Demi & Stefflon (there's an even bigger track from him still to come)

16 1076 Ed Sheeran - Castle On The Hill (50-16-7-5-4-5-4-4-6-7-7-15-18-18-22-28-27-49-xx) [18 wks]
17 1066 Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do (5-3-2-3-3-4-6-6-8-30-24-20-19-24-22-44-37-42-...) [18+ wks]
18 1061 Little Mix - Touch (...-2-1-1-1-1-1-4-6-8-9-12-15-19-20-35-44-xx) [16 wks]
19 1057 French Montana feat. Swae Lee - Unforgettable (39-17-18-18-22-19-18-22-14-20-23-24-17-17-20-24-28-38-37-46-60-74-xx) [22 wks]
20 1056 Dua Lipa - Be The One (...-42-21-9-6-2-1-2-4-9-10-9-15-20-33-39-41-48-50-57-57-66-75-x) [22 wks]

Two more Multichart #1s drop out in this section, the first being perhaps my favorite of them all, Dua Lipa's 'Be The One'! This was first released in 2015 and had generated a following here back then, but that didn't stop the song from smashing the Multichart the second time around! Another of my 2017 faves, 'Unforgettable' had a slow-burning official chart run and here as well, although Buzzjack didn't let it peak nearly as high. You might have expected higher for 'Touch' considering its 5 weeks at #1, but it was disadvantaged from being a late 2016 release and later dropped out of the Multichart from #44! ohmy.gif Taylor Swift's comeback 'Look What You Made Me Do' did not earn her a Multi #1 like it did officially (stuck behind 'New Rules'), but it did rather well aside from that 8-30 drop. And at #16 we have Buzzjack's FAVOURITE artist, Ed Sheeran! The numbers don't lie, no matter how much people moan in the chart forum they still chart his songs...not only 'Castle On The Hill' but also 'Shape Of You' which, believe it or not, is still to come! mellow.gif

I love how Ed has, not one, but two songs above Look What You Made Me Do, Be The One, and Touch! laugh.gif Although tbf I prefer Shape & Castle over Look & BTO (Touch is on another level tho)

11 1129 Jax Jones feat. RAYE - You Don't Know Me (54-18-12-4-2-2-1-3-6-8-11-12-18-21-23-26-29-33-47-61-xx) [20 wks]
12 1123 P!nk - What About Us (13-2-2-2-3-2-2-3-5-5-6-8-12-23-26-40-59-54-65-65-...) [20+ wks]
13 1095 Lorde - Green Light (42-6-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-7-12-19-30-29-42-43-46-46-47-54-64-xx) [21 wks]
14 1087 Kygo & Selena Gomez - It Ain't Me (56-11-5-2-3-4-5-5-8-10-10-17-16-16-28-27-37-48-49-xx) [20 wks]
15 1081 ZAYN feat. Sia - Dusk Till Dawn (16-8-4-2-1-2-2-3-4-6-7-8-10-19-20-23-...) [16+ wks]

Just outside the top 10 now! Zayn surprised everyone and scored a #1 hit with Dusk Till Dawn last year, helped of course by some guest vocals from Sia. He became the first solo 1D member to get a #1 hit, and in fact, he managed to outdo all of 1D's singles too! Kygo and Selena Gomez teamed up for the instant hit It Ain't Me, which made #2. Surprisingly, Lorde's Green Light never actually made #1, stuck at #2 for a huge seven weeks! Its huge Buzzjack following could only get it so far. P!nk's comeback was another long-running #2, never quite making the top spot but an undeniable smash hit. Finally, only just missing the top 10, Jax Jones scored a #1 at the start of 2017 with You Don't Know Me, sneaking one week between Little Mix's Touch and Dua Lipa's Be the One.

10 1131 Portugal. The Man - Feel It Still (66-62-50-52-69-75-72-37-34-34-32-23-25-24-16-16-14-18-15-12-17-13-15-32-40-48-48-...) [27+ wks]

OOOOH MAAAAI GAAAAAAAWWWWRRD

it's the underdog hit of the year kicking off the top 10, who'd have thought it? Feel It Still spent the whole second half of 2017 inside the Multichart at 27 weeks - all before it blew up in the UK this year, now stretching its run to 39+ weeks *.*

Probably not quite this high unless they can manage another 27 weeks, but should still do pretty well I reckon!

9 1156 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - I Feel It Coming (...-3-4-3-2-3-5-7-16-16-13-18-18-22-16-16-27-30-36-52-57-xx) [20 wks]

Ooh, and here we have a carry-over from 2016 that still managed enough points in 2017 for a year-end top 10! This was my second-favorite song of last year so I'm thrilled to see it do so well, peaking at #2 behind 'Touch' for a week. It was The Weeknd's second consecutive collab with Daft Punk following 'Starboy', and you can much more clearly recognize Daft Punk's contribution on this one. Very obvious Michael Jackson influence as well, and executed flawlessly. More like this please, Abel wub.gif

8 1196 Calvin Harris feat. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean - Feels (35-23-5-1-1-1-2-2-2-3-3-4-5-6-10-13-22-44-64-xx) [19 wks]

Katy Perry scored two #1s on the multichart last year, and here we have the second! However, it's not her last song to appear ohmy.gif #spoilers. Katy teamed up with Calvin Harris, who led the way in this star-studded collaboration also featuring Pharrell and Big Sean. Feels was the third official single from the Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1 album, and became a UK #1 single last summer. It had a very lengthy top 10 run here, but dropped off surprisingly quick after it left the top tier!

I Feel It Coming wub.gif How well did Starboy do in the multichart when it was released?

I love how Feels went from #13 to out in the space of 5 weeks laugh.gif I got pretty bored of it fast too, Pharrel & Big Sean make it for me tbh. Katy is nice but anyone else could've sung her parts and it would have been just as good tongue.gif (same goes for Ariana in Heartstroke)
