Big gains for AlunaGeorge, Elliphant, Sia and The xx this week, but none enough to overcome BLACKPINK's soar to the top of the charts, becoming the first Asian group to chart a #1 this year. In the past 4minute, and particularly 2NE1 have had some chart success here; the torch now passes to their spiritual successors, with the fashionably on-trend pop-EDM crossover Playing With Fire.

Previous #1s this month Rockabye and Run and Hide hold steady in the top 5, while further down the chart, Gaga, Rae Sremmurd, Olly Murs, Keke Palmer and the irritating yet addictive Crank It (Woah) enter, along with a lot of shuffling from last week. Additionally, rising star Girl Blue's Fire Under Water reaches a surprise new peak at #10 in its 7th chart week, after seeming on the verge of dropping out this time last week.
