Ah Shucks!
I had a post waiting to go of songs that peaked at number 3 but held that for 3 weeks or more, but that's not really relevant now. |

"Take Me To Church" gaining success after its NOW appearance. It's very rare that this happens

Fergie's track sounds like something that came out in 2005. It's not that bad though in fairness.

Fergie will never not be cool. The singles on her last album were all amazing (apart from 'Clumsy). 'Glamorous' and 'Big Girls Don't Cry' the more laidback ones and 'London Bridge' and 'Fergalicious' the party BANGERS, the best possible mix.!
The title of this new one from her is annoying. It sounds a bit lazy but it's so much fun, and it's just generally great to see her back. Gwen who? That 'Fergalicious' story was AMAZING. |

YAY Hozier and taking it at the expense of an absolutely atrocious track as well - dire, dire comeback from Fergie, feels like it's trying to be three different songs.
She's very rarely been any good solo, a shame as she is clearly very talented. This post has been edited by Chez Wombat: 1st February 2015, 06:46 PM |

THANK GOD Hozier is #2 (not that I expected him not to be). 'L.A.LOVE (la la)' is so so formulaic and shite, the only thing it's vaguely good for is the production and that's just the same old DJ Mustard beat as ever.

Pleased Rae Morris reached the albums top ten too, really fantastic debut, even if there were only two songs on it that I hadn't previously heard.

"L.A Love" is quite bad. Who inspired this joke?
On the other hand, "Take Me to the Church" is very good. |

L.A.Love has grown on me but the whole 'shouting out every city in your song' thing has gotten very old. My favorite Fergie song is either Fergalicious or Finally

Well that's the last of the good music before a truly dire top 2.

Yay for Rae in top 10
So bored of both of these top 2 (and I wonder if they are bringing the future hit for next week back as it seems like the chart will finish a few minute only) |
