Hi
Would anyone like to start the next survivor? Oasis has been suggested so I think that would be a great follow on from The Beatles.

Oasis is a great suggestion though I'd rather rate 'Time Flies 1994-2009' rather than 'Stop The Clocks' if we're going to do a GH album and as you say would follow on well from The Beatles.

yes, Stop the Clocks ignored everything from Be Here Now

I agree using Time Flies is better. Gavin, you want to do it?

Oasis is an excellent idea.

So who wants to do it?

I'd like oasis and would take part or the pet shop boys.

I'm happy to host it if there's no other takers.

What will be next after Oasis which is almost concluded.

I believe PCF is doing a quickie Madonna survivor next

Really happy to take suggestions for future ones people would be interested in seeing though...
Posted by: Bjork Apr 28 2020, 07:37 AM
maybe Blur after Oasis
Alanis, Radiohead, Florence + the Machine
Manics, Suede, Placebo...
Posted by: Feel_The_Fever Apr 28 2020, 11:06 AM
Blur would be a good follow up or Pet shop boys.

I'd like to see a Radiohead one too actually, don't know if there's that much demand for it though! Manic Street Preachers could be another too perhaps.

Green Day!

Would love a Stereophonics one, not sure how popular it would be on here though.

Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson would be great.

Oh right, thanks.
Would there be much demand for a Smiths survivor or rate? Maybe just including the tracks on their Sound Of The Smiths greatest hits?
Posted by: Bjork Apr 29 2020, 03:39 PM
would love a Smiths one,
even a Morrissey one, but he probably has too many singles
Posted by: Scene Apr 29 2020, 03:48 PM
Am I allowed to run a poll to see whether there's demand for a survivor, a rate or neither?

Yes, go ahead on a poll. We will have more so maybe you could offer the choice of what (Blur, Smiths, whoever is mentioned in th thread) and if people want a rate or a survivor. Would you be ok to host the next one?

Ok I'll do one now.
And yes I'd be interested in running a Smiths one if there's the interest for it.

We could give The Smiths one a go if you’d really like to host one, nothing stopping us having 2 on the go I guess!
Not sure how popular they are on here but I like a lot of the singles
