Apparently this is the official lead and it is being released sometime in the next few weeks. A small snippet has leaked and it doesn't sound like a hit at all or at all interesting. Maybe the full song will have a little more flare. It sounds positively inoffensive and a bit dull so far. https://clyp.it/oywuf01l |

I'm usually one of the few big fans of Jessie but "Real Deal" was honestly the worst song she's ever done (alongside "Calling All Hearts" )... I'm hoping she goes a bit more poppy with the 'proper' lead but I don't think the general public care all that much about anymore anyway so it probably won't be a hit

Given that this thread has only received one response so far, I don't think it's really worth having a separate thread for the album - which Jessie announced today as titled R.O.S.E. (which stands for Realisations, Obsessions, Sex, Empowerment).
She's posted a short video on her Twitter talking about how she was close to leaving music but has (obviously) decided against it as it's her one true love. Watch here. Interesting title (Rose is her mother's name) but I'm not sure she's going to have much impakt this time around. If it wasn't for Ariana and Nicki on "Bang Bang", she probably would have been over in 2014 but leaving it three years and an awful promo single later is too long to get any sympathy support. I really can't decide where I stand on her/her music, she's had an undeniable amount of tunes over the last decade but her personality just always manages to put me off her, especially a lot of the album tracks on Sweet Talker. OCC article here, I've re-hashed most of the info so won't embed the text. |

Yeah I'll edit this to be a catch-all thread I agree there's not much point in a separate thread as she doesn't have so much interest as before and when it is out most of the comments will probably be "christ what on earth is she doing", knowing her I don't know what to expect from this personally but I feel she'll go further into R&B/soul sort of thing, either way I doubt she'll have much success. The last album didn't do that well apart from Bang Bang which was probably more Ari and Nicki.

'Think About That' is out.
I actually really really like it. It isn't initially very grabbing and I can see some people finding it boring but I think it is really rather charming. |

Is she serious coming back with this for a lead single?! I think she is going to flop horrendously this era.

I know everyone is gonna come for this but I love it. I can see it being a great album opener too, I really hope they put it as the first track. |

It's good, but literally only as an introduction or something. It's definitely not single, let alone the LEAD, material. Hope she has better. But I do like this.

I've been a BIG fan of her last three albums but I won't even be listening to the new one if we get one more track as bad as "Real Deal" and now "Think About That". At least this was one is just boring and dull rather than actually terrible like "Real Deal" was but she sounds much better doing pure pop music and this isn't the sort of thing that's going to help her out in the middle of such a huge career slump.

I actually really like this it's a really good song but it's definitely not lead single material she should have just had this as an Album opener .

I wouldn't say I enjoy it per se, but I appreciate it for being less faceless and having more identity/more of herself in it than most of what she's put out. It's not a hit at all though, but it seems more genuine from her.
I mean, she's released FAR worse before. Need we even mention the likes of 'It's My Party'? |

So much second-hand embarrassment watching that video - what on earth was she thinking?!
The song isn't bad but it is not lead single material. Also the intro sounds like it's trying to be "Kiss from a Rose". |
