The auditions will be starting this month which Ant has already filmed. So he'll only be missing from the live shows.

Looking forward to this! It doesn't quite muster up the amount of discussion that X Factor does on here but it's my preferred show of the two. I felt quite invested in the live stages in particular last year and it was the icing on the cake when my fave Tokio won!

Quick mention that Harry Hill's Alien Fun Capsule is on at 7:30pm before it, it's fantastic!

There's been many times a judge has buzzed but still said "yes" so not sure the point of #8 in that article...

Am I the only one who prefers BGMT to the main show?

That 10-year-old singing boy was so seen it all before, it was just a weaker version of Shaheen Jafargholi's audition 9 (!) years ago really.
The crazy people so far are the best, naturally. *.* |

I thought this was really below par for an opening episode, usually the opening one is packed with decent enough acts but nothing tonight is proving memorable for me.
Oh and I really hate it when people shoehorn in emotion into their acts. Just saying. |

Ok that magician was INCREDIBLE and I have no idea how he did it but I can't see how he's gonna live up to it again, now we've had the emotional punch about his daughter, him doing that sort of thing again isn't going to have the same magic (excuse the pun) to it surely? I am such a sucker for magic acts though, of all the tired types of acts like kid singers, dance troupes and that one token singer who could have gone on X Factor, magic still always wows me when it's done so well like that.
This was nowhere near as bad as Richard Jones barely doing any magic in the final and winning because of the veteran story at least |

Again, didn't seem to have as much of Ant & Dec in this episode.
