Måneskin seem to be teasing a new single! People on social media are saying its called 'Mama Mia' and will be out on October 8th...

Yep a random Sony account posted the 'MAMMAMIA' detail and artwork / 8th October date earlier but it was removed, so I think that info leaked before their team was ready!

They've been writing music for months so I highly doubt it's an ABBA cover! laugh.gif

I can understand why they recorded covers for their debut EP as X Factor Italia was a springboard for it but everything since has been original. Bring it on cheer.gif

If it is an original song, it must have at least a nod to ABBA and the fact that both groups won Eurovision.

Looking forward to hearing this (but not so much if it's an ABBA cover).

Looking forward to hearing this - I think whether they manage to maintain chart relevance will largely depend on if TikTok continues to support them or not so I'm not going to hold my breath but it would be great if they do stick around in the mainstream. Great that it hasn't been too long of a wait for new stuff from them post Eurovision anyway! (Technically we already did get something new but we don't really talk about that Iggy Pop remix)

Is that artwork meant to be a reference to The Rolling Stones' 'Sticky Fingers' cover or is it just similar thinking.gif

Im so glad I went!! Solo gigs make me a bit anxious still but when the music starts it’s all fun start to finish.

The lyrics feature a call out to cocaine-gate which was a yassss moment for sure
