17. Wouldn't Change A Thing (Ft Joe Jonas/Stanfour)

Avg: 5.23 Highest Rate: 8.5/8 (Cody Slayberry, Ryan, MIKEMYER, Dillan), Lowest Rate: -1/0 (Apricot, Martyn, LeeWallace)

At #17 and scoring a much higher average of 5.23 is "Wouldn't Change A Thing" taken from the Camp Rock 2 soundtrack and released as the 4th and final single in July 2010. This also marks the 2nd time Demi sung with Joe Jonas, whose previous was "This Is Me" from the first Camp Rock movie, but this didn't quite experience the same level of success by failing to dent the US Top 100 at #110, and then only making small dents in Canada and the UK. In German speaking countries another version was released featuring Demi and Stanfour which was also released in the same month and actually fared better by cracking the top 40 in both Germany and Austria. This almost finished in last place at one point, but "WBAD" scored 4 -1's in the end which sealed it's fate. But this is the only song in this countdown not to score a single 10, only managing multiple 8's and a couple of averages of 7's and 6's, but again brought down by the final 2 0's in the end.

Omg, is this the Stanfour of 'In Your Arms' fame? wub.gif I should get around to listening to this tbh.

No surprises at all really yet though! Which is good? laugh.gif

Are we really doing one song a day? I don't want to die of old age before this is over.

I never see the forest for the trees

10. Nightingale

Avg: 7.729 Highest Rates: 11 (Calum Hood) 10: (Liam), Lowest Rates: 6 (Jark, barbaric dan, Joe, Nick F1, Jonjo)

Right then Buzzjack we begin our top 10 with the stunning "Nightingale", the first of the 4th album "Demi" era singles to drop and it's possibly the upcoming 5th single from that album, although it hasn't been quite confirmed but the track still has a music video and was even citied as an early fave upon the album's release. To date this is one of Demi's most personal songs yet and with such stunning vocals that are deeply moving and along with a simplistic music video in which Demi showcased as X-Mas last year as a present to her fans. On this rate it received a 11 and a 10, along with 7 9's and now lower than a 6, but due to being so many of them it did bring the average down.

I always forget how much "inspiration" the Nightingale video takes from the video for Fly by Hilary Duff.

No more hiding who I wanna be

09. This Is Me (Ft Joe Jonas)

Avg: 7.84 Highest Rates: 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Liam, Calum Hood, MIKEMYER), Lowest Rates: 3 (Davidson)

At #9 is Demi's debut "This Is Me" featuring Joe Jonas and taken from the Camp Rock soundtrack in June 2008, in which both singers starred in also. The song became Demi's first successful hit by reaching #9 on the US Top 100, becoming her highest charting single to date as well as becoming her first hit to chart worldwide and became a success in several countries by hitting top 20 in Norway, Hungary, Canada and Austria and also top 40 in Ireland, Portugal, UK, Germany, Italy and Swiss. There was also a Spanish version of this song titled Lo Que Soy that was included on the deluxe version of her debut album "Don't Forget". This is also the last of her early era singles to feature in this countdown and I'm so glad that it did really well, this actually had a lower score than "La La Land", but had a higher average due to 2 non rates and scored very decently throughout this rate with 4 10's, 5 9's, 3 8's and a lot of 7's. To this day this is still a nice fun pop song that still remains a highlight in Demi's discography.

Nightingale is stunning <3 Not one of my ultimate faves but such a lovely song. This Is Me is amaze too, basically everything is now sad.gif Up shouldn't be this high though, on paper it should be perfect given i LOVE both artists but it's a bit too twee to stand up against their other stuff imo.

Preferably:
01 Skyscraper
02 Heart Attack
03 Really Don't Care
04 Made In The USA
05 Give Your Heart A Break
06 Neon Lights
07 Somebody To You
08 Up

I do really like even Up and STY tbf. Don't Forget, Here We Go Again and La La Land should be top 5 though sad.gif

I never meant to break your heart

08. Up (Ft Olly Murs)

Avg: 8.541 Highest Rates: 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Apricot, Cody Slayberry, Acidburn, Nick, Taylor Jago, MIKEMYER, LeeWallace), Lowest Rates: 2 (Joe)

At #8 and the first song to receive an 8 average is "Up" a single by Olly Murs and features Demi Lovato and taken from his 4th album "Never Been Better" and released as the 2nd single in December 2014 and reached #4 on the UK charts, therefore becoming another hit for both artists giving Olly his 8th top 10 hit and Demi her 3rd. To date this is her biggest selling single with sales of 495,000 copies. In other countries the song has become a success by hitting top 10 in Ireland, South Africa, Austria and New Zealand, along with top 20 peaks in Australia, Belgium, Italy, Hungary and Germany.

07. Really Don't Care (Ft Cher Lloyd)

Avg: 8.562 Highest Rates: 11 (Apricot)10 (Liam, Cody Slayberry, Acidburn, Ryan, Nick, Martyn), Lowest Rates: 6 (Bartsimpson)

At #7 is "Really Don't Care" which firstly is firstly becoming one of my firm faves from her and plus this is probably the only Cher Lloyd song that I actually like. Released in May 2014 as the 4th single from her 4th album "Demi" and features a rap by Cher Lloyd and received instant praise when released and even won 3 awards (1 Teen choice award and 2 VEVO Hot this year awards). The song reached #26 in the USA becoming her 8th top 40 hit and became successful in other countries by reaching top 20 in Israel, Luxembourg and Belgium, Also top 40 in Canada, Czech Republic and New Zealand. The song received a 11 and 6 10's rate, with no terrible scores it's lowest was just one 6.

Everybody's trying to be a billionaire

06. Somebody To You (Ft The Vamps)

Avg: 8.812 Highest Rates : 10 (Ultraviolence1989, Calum Hood, Cody Slayberry, Acidburn, Joe, Taylor Jago, Jonio, Kellyann, Bartsimpson, Cameron, DionTheSats123, LeeWallace), Lowest Rates: 4 (Jark)

At #6 is "Somebody To You" a single by The Vamps and features Demi Lovato, making this her highest placed duet on this countdown. Released in May 2014 as the 4th single from their debut album "Meet The Vamps" and became another success for them becoming their 4th top 5 hit in a row peaking at #4. This was also their first single released in the USA in August 2014 but failed to crack the top 100 peaking at #110. But in other countries it was more successful by hitting top 10 in Ireland and South Africa as well as top 20 peaks in Australia and New Zealand. This has gained the most tens so far by gaining an impressive 12 10's.

I would love Give Your Heart a break to win as it's an all time favourite of mine but I can see it being one of the next two out.
