Looking forward to this! Voicenotes was a massive improvement on Nine Track Mind.
Voicenotes had some killer tracks (mainly the singles) but the full package was slightly underwhelming for me actually, Nine Track Mind was much better! Nevertheless I'm very excited to hear some new music.

I think you're being a tad pedantic. I didn't say I was going to never listen to his music again, just that I'd be less inclined to support him, also being a Trump supporter to being a Hilary supporter is very different!

There's a big difference between completely "cancelling" someone and being less likely to support them, like I wouldn't not listen to a song because of political views or opinions but I couldn't "stan" him or support him.
Either way, this song is a meh from me. His voice just doesn't suit it, I like the production but it's too sparse for his voice, it makes him sound really whiny??

So, SO bland. He has NO charisma or personality either and comes off as quite bored in his videos.
I think he has personality away from this, but this video definitely gives the impression he doesn't. It's so unsuited for him and he definitely does look bored.

Was a big fan of Charlie for the 'Voicenotes' era and this is moving in the right direction for me (as well as assisting 5SOS with "Easier") - this could either big huge in the charts or a complete flop though; hard to call.

Well none of his have been pushed yet - it's not like he has a massive fanbase to have a hit without promo/high Spotify placements.

Attention and How Long both climbed over the course of their first weeks on iTunes (I remember both being called flops on here at the time with their slow starts!), obviously blossoming into big hits in the end as exposure grew and grew. The same will likely happen with whichever song Charlie chooses to promote.
WHY there's no playlist promotion for this though then? Just a video which did ok after one day but has then faded quickly and not getting even 500k views daily.
I'm just on my full hate mode btw, the song is awful.
Katy's team wasn't this wise with NRO and Small Talk 
Even with this release strategy, I'm surprised/disappointed that this song didn't chart on name alone; I really like it
