Thanks for posting the press release!
Would have been nice if they had included information about promo for the single |

Interesting that the press release doesn't mention 'Golden' the single.
Makes me wonder, was it just a buzz single like 'Sexercise'? Not that I really know what that means. |

Yep for me Golden was just a ‘radio single’ - sent out purely to get record of the week at R2 to coincide with the announcement of her headlining the BBC concert. |

I totally feel like 'Golden' was a single, but that they're just not really going to put much effort into those now the album's out.

I get that but golden really wasn't even given a small chance to do anything until the voice performance.

Thanks very much for the info, gavindeejay!
Regarding the artwork - if you right click on it and save the image to your computer, then all you need to do is visit here: https://imgur.com/upload / press Browse / locate the file on your computer, click it and press open / then copy the link that is generated and paste it into a reply here. ~ I would definitely regard Golden as a single, it was just quite low-key in the way it was handled. |

The artwork at the least is handled better than with Golden, which came weeks after its release.
It will be interesting to see the differences (if any) on how this single is handled in comparison to Golden. |

Apparently this has been played on Radio 2, it's been slightly remixed.
I feel like this needs a bit of a remix to properly work as a single, so I'm intrigued to hear that. This post has been edited by Tawdry Hepburn: 4th August 2018, 12:41 PM |

The new mix is not radically different I suppose, just more emphasis on the fiddle than the "woaaoooh"s after the chorus.

It's not a big difference but it does make the song more memorable. I really hope they push this now.

The fact that we have artwork and a radio edit/remix already makes me think they will put a little more effort into pushing this track - they know it will help build momentum into Q4 if they can get a radio hit and album sales now.
I know I say it all the time but just give the fans physicals and a digital remix EP BMG! Guaranteed Top 40 for every release! |

Its a good cover for the single. Im all for physicals, and they in Kylies case would really boost her chart performances.

Thanks for posting the press release! Would have been nice if they had included information about promo for the single Any promo opportunities for the single may not be confirmed yet. As she’s in the UK next month it would be a waste if she wasn’t on something like Graham Norton. This single is to get her onto radio to help last minute ticket sales for the tour. Golden if I remember correctly was sent out on her 50th birthday (or there abouts). If you want I’ll see if I can find the press info on it tomorrow for you This post has been edited by gavindeejay: 5th August 2018, 12:55 AM |

Thanks for posting As I said earlier the fact we have a radio edit and single cover already fills me with some hope we might at least get a remix EP at the very least. |

From OCC:- http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/k...-repair__23547/
QUOTE A new version of A Lifetime To Repair was unveiled on BBC Radio 2 over the weekend, during Alan Carr and Mel Sykes' Summer Escape show.
The new edit includes beefed up production on the verses and added fiddle (!) on the chorus. In case you missed the memo, Kylie embracing all things country on her latest set. Listen to the new version of A Lifetime To Repair on BBC Radio 2 here, around the 2 hour 40 minute mark. The song is the fourth spin-off from Golden, following Dancing, Stop Me From Falling and the title track. Golden became Kylie's sixth chart-topping album on the Official Chart in April this year and was recently certified gold for sales of 103,000 across physical, downloads and streaming. Official Charts recently revealed Golden as the UK's best-selling cassette of 2018 so far, as sales of the retro format are up almost double from last year. Kylie's UK arena tour kicks off on September 18 in Newcastle and includes three dates at London's O2 Arena. |

I was worried the radio mix got rid of the "repair" refrain totally as that's one of my favourite bits. As it's still there in some capacity, I think I can enjoy this edit.
