 Honestly the one song that makes me cry EVERY time so I don't lisen to it as often as I should By far her most emotive vocal performance, you can feel it as if she is Ronan's mother and the lyrics are of course beautiful coming from his mum's blog posts.

'Bad Blood' was initially my least favourite song on '1989' and then became one of my favourites post-single release! One of my biggest musical turnarounds in recent times.
The updated production works sooo much better, it's really slick

I was never much of a fan of Bad Blood either, although the video is kinda iconic, but the verses without Kendrick are a what I like to hear, a bit like how her vocals flow in some of her album tracks on 1989.

I prefer the album version of Bad Blood but it's still not a fave from the album or her career. It is great though, it's just that the standard of 1989 is so high and I never quite got into Bad Blood like everyone else did. The remix is good but doesn't have nough Taylor. I like Kendrik but eh.
I heard a fair bit of Taylor today, obv I repeated Look What You Make me Do on loop but Tim Hortons played I Don't Wanna Live Forever and Blank Space, ofc the latter was much more welcome but IDWLF is nice to hear too. I Knew You Were Trouble played in the airport and I heard someone laying Look What You Made Me Do out loud on the bus lmao, first day impact goals x |
