Wonder which ones will land top 40 this week, then. Hoping Major Lazer and Liam Gallagher can make it!

I would say Gorgon and The Duke have a chance of debuting low top 40 officially this week, their names together will obviously be a draw for dance fans who download/stream. Also it is summer so that will help it as a dance record. |

Lmao without exaggeration I think that 5am "song" is the worst thing I have heard all year. It sounds like something that JLS would have left in the bin while recording The Club Is Alive, and that says it all because that song is an abomination anyway. Surely there is no way it will do well... At best it'll be buoyed by the promo and promptly piss off, hopefully.
Hopefully Julia Michaels does ok but I can't see it being a hit. |

It's going to flop so hard. You keep saying this but I really don't think they will they've got a BGT peformance plus there doing Capital Summertime Ball so Capital Fm is obviously going to support them I think they should go top 20 at least .
It really does sound like a reject JLS track This post has been edited by troylovesmusic: 1st June 2017, 11:40 PM |

This is only the second time i've said it. They might support them but I'll eat my hat if they chart top 25. It sounds so so so dated |

I don't understand what Syco are thinking?!?! I mean it being 59p from the outset gives the impression they know it's going to bomb. |

Fifth Harmony & 5AM will easily make it too i'd imagine (don't know why the latter are being doubted so much, a new syco-backed boyband with a big fanbase/BGT promo should equal a high chart placing?) (please can Duke x Gorgon smash as well? if only it were still 2014 ) |

I smell a flop for 5 After Midnight. Poor song and extremely low spot on the New Music Friday playlist, number 40.

I can honestly see them stalling at 30ish before BGT and then maybe climbing to 13/14 before dropping like a stone with virtually 0 streams. |

I think I might be the only person not hating the 5AM song, and if I has the right exposure I can actually seeing it doing not too badly.
But then again, I thought Adam Lambert's 'Ghost Town' would hit the top 10 and we know how that turned out |

I'm glad that I don't listen to the chart show or take much interest in the charts anymore, after looking at the chart and listening to the current number one I have to say that it's uninspiring to say the least! And that is going to be number one for 10+ weeks? wow!

Are 5AM performing on BGT tonight or tomorrow? I gave it a listen last night... not really sold on it yet but it does sound like something that could be successful.
