‘Are You Ready for Love’ wasn’t Elton’s first solo #1, that was ‘Sacrifice’ in 1990. Although recorded in the 70s, AYRFL wasn’t a #1 until the 00s.

Thanks for the correction. I thought his first number one was later than 1979, but didn't look at the chart run to check sad.gif
