Not much info on this but it seems to be coming soon and I couldn't find any other post about it so I made one Not sure if The Script belong in this section or the Pop section, feel free to move if necessary. They've teased us with two songs over the past couple of months and I think something will be coming sometime in June...

I was wondering earlier today when we'd be getting new music from them!

Sounds pretty good, it's been far too long since we've had any Script so I wonder what chart impact they'll have (if any)

Doesn't sound as good as their previous stuff on first listen, which is disappointing. Also I'm not sure how much radio support they'll get this time round, they've been around a while and I feel like public interest in them is waning, so I'd be very surprised if they managed to pull off a successful era.

Looks like they are releasing this week on Friday as they are on the R1 Breakfast show on the 14th.

It's rather tropical and "on trend"... not sure what I think of it. It reminds me of One Republics No Vacancy so maybe with some more listens I'll be hooked but for the moment I'm not fully sold

Yeah, this is very shit.
They really lost it, didn't they? It is a shame as their first album was so good and Danny has a great voice. |

Hmm. I love The Script - I've bought all their albums in the past - but can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed by this single on first listen. It sounds so obviously (and certainly going on what Danny has said in interviews today) like they are chasing trends just to stay relevant, chiefly that whole 'tropical' sound that's bizarrely still in vogue, which was never really the point of them. I'll reserve full judgement till the album comes out but right now I prefer their older stuff to this.

It's Ok for what it is. Basically a trend chasing song. But yeah, nowhere near the heights of their first era. </3

They peaked with their second album - that was such a great follow up. Third album was ok, fourth was very hit and miss.
This song is pretty generic but it will probably grow on me and I'll enjoy it when I hear it on the radio but it's not something I'd go out of my way to listen to. |

A few listens later and I like it in a 6 out of 10 sort of way. It's listenable.
