Sarah Paulson is really grinding on me this season. She's actually really irritating the f*** out of me. Yeah, I'm really not liking Sarah Paulson's character this season either. She wasn't that likeable in Roanoke either, but oh well. Hopefully she improves, but so far she just seems to be testing how loud she can scream each episode. I do like the concept of this season, and it has had more scary moments than previous seasons, and the jump-scares are definitely more effective too. Hopefully they do manage to burn the story slowly and follow it through to the end with a satisfying ending as opposed to jumping ship halfway through and changing the direction completely. |

Maybe they'll kill Sarah's character off and bring her back playing someone more iconic

I think Sarah Paulson is getting way too much hate, she's playing someone who suffers from phobias/anxiety so, imo, she's playing the character really well?

I think the main problem is, I don't think she can actually scream so it comes off as quite wooden and really grating when it's happening 95% of the time lol.

No, Sarah can scream. It just happens to sound like she's summoning a demon.

It actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting, I thought she was more grating in episode one tbh (I replied last time before seeing the episode :')) I think she'll grow on me though the way Audrey did but I do feel like this character is very beneath what Sarah is capable of portraying, at least atm.

Really enjoyed the last episode, although I think they're giving away too much too early on. Similar with what they did on Hotel and it burned out fast.
I think it's obvious that the neighbours, Winter, the psychologist and Evan's character are working together as part of the cult - likely working together as the clowns? I said a good twist would be if Ally's wife was in on it which wouldn't surprise me honestly. |

Okay so now we now who's involved in the cult, now what?!
Again, reminds me when in Hotel the main reveal was done mid series and the rest of the series just kind of went nowhere. |
