The best thing about The Saturdays is that they were never really 'THAT' popular so going away for a couple of years could be a good thing. Come back with a stellar Song like WAU and they could pick up where they ledt off albeit in a better position. |

I don't see them releasing anything else as a group.

Come back with a stellar Song like WAU and they could pick up where they ledt off albeit in a better position. They'll learn to play instruments and suddenly Saturdays is Lawson. I don't see them releasing anything else as a group. I suddenly love everything about you, I don't know why. |

They'll never record anything as a group again. And if they did, it would get 0 support, as has been said before, they're not wanted enough to be able to come back from a break with any airplay, sadly

I think "their plans" is to get back together at some point, whether that happens or not is yet to see. This post has been edited by Hurricane: 20th April 2015, 03:32 PM |

New music will be released at the end of 2016. Calling it now. Whether or not all members will return I'm not sure. I worry about Rochelle...

2017 they'll release another single and album for the 10th Anniversary of their formation before flopping and splitting for good ala Girls Aloud.

I agree.. in terms of what I want to happen? Well I'd like them to get their arses in gear and realise that they're not going to get anywhere by taking holidays every two weeks. I think they should start from scratch and release something edgy and fresh, not jumping on the bandwagon of whats in the charts at the moment. They have that potential but they need to realise that it takes hard work.
I know the GA comparisons are endless but they really did work so so hard and look at their career (minus the end flop)- I really thought Peter would follow suit and encourage the Satz to work as hard, he was there throughout GA career and saw where hard work got them so its puzzling as to why he wouldnt want the same success for the Satz :S Imagine if they had had Hilary Shaw as their manager! How different things would be! Ah well one can only dream. #DamnYouPeter&Adam |

Babies, judging jobs, fashion ranges, presenting jobs and modelling careers have seriously slowed them down too.

I think the only pregnancy that didnt really affect things was Una. Rochelle yes that impacted America a lot, and Frankie well any excuse for time of!

I think it's easy sometimes to blame it on the management team and not on the girls. As it been shown on Chasing The Saturdays, the girls did come across as a bit lazy at times when talking about promoting whereas Peter really seemed like he knew how serious this was and how hard they had to work. |

I hate to be drawing this analogy but...Atomic Kitten in 2015 is what The Saturdays will be come 2022. They had an excellent run considering all the challenges they had to hurdle over but if 'What Are You Waiting For?' can just about get top 40, it doesn't exactly point to pent up demand two years later.
A comeback in a 'Big Reunion' type sense next decade with other acts (The Wanted and Pixie Lott, I am looking at you), yes. But new material is as likely as flying pigs. |
