A new single from Muse named Dig Down will be released this Thursday 18th May.

It's their first proper single material for two years.

The chorus sounds so random! It take a while to get going, but it's ok I guess.

It's pretty good. It's kinda like 'Madness'.

I probably like it more than the singles from Drones (Dead Inside, Mercy, Revolt, Reapers... they're good though).

That chorus is literally George Michael

Sounds very Madness but possibly with more build- I loved the final minute or so! If this is any indication the new album could be more like The 2nd Law again but who knows, hoping to see a bit more of something different but new Muse is new Muse. wub.gif

I would expect nothing less overblown a video from Muse! laugh.gif

I do see the Madness comparisons, that's not a sound I love from them but I think this has got potential to grow, Just glad to see them back really <3 I imagine they'll sound even more apocalyptic in a world with Brexit and Trump.

Can't get on with this. Muse's last few albums have been frustratingly inconsistent.

Maybe it's me because recently I have found a number of established band's new material has been awful - Muse, Linkin Park, Paramore, Fall Out Boy,

It drags a lot doesn't it?

I enjoyed 'Dead Inside' from their last era but my interest has considerably waned this decade.

It's quite nice, nowhere near their best but still good! biggrin.gif

Am I the only one that thinks that the backing sounds like something else, like totally identical - I can't put my finger on what tho? It's a great tune but the more I listen to it, the more similar it sounds :')
