Released as the first single from What Will The Neighbours Say?, The Show entered and peaked at #2 upon release in 2004, but sadly it feels to me that it's kinda forgotten beyond the big Girls Aloud fans these days For me it's one of their finest moments, excellent production and an usual structure for a pop hit. Plus the video is INCREDIBLE and potentially their best. Let's have some LOVE for The Show please!

Love the song and video on the whole though its not their best but its not their worst either

Nice but always been one of my least favourites. If anything, I've found it to be rather overrated.

Now imagine if 'Love Machine' had kickstarted the era.

This song took years to grow on me but I am all over it these days An unusual but addictive structure with a brilliant video. <3

Love it, of course! I'd definitely have it within the top half of their singles, and it's one of their best videos.

I often overlook it in their discography but always enjoy it to the max.

I'll always remember it being released the same week as Kylie's 'Chocolate'. 12 years seems mental!

YES! This and 'Biology' are the reasons I got into their music!

This is my favorite song from them after 'Untouchable' and 'Biology'. And that's out of a brilliant discography, I must add.

Completely agree actually, Biology does the whole weird structure better. I'll listen to this quite happily but it's not very often at all that I do go back to it!

Britney and Girls Aloud are my two favourite pop artists of the '00s. Both define the decade for me

'The Show' is a great pop song. It's not my absolute favourite GA single, but it's still a really catchy song.

I love this song, not only for the obvious reason that it's great fun to listen to, but also for representing what was so special about them: such a bold choice as the first single of the second album (especially if we consider https://youtu.be/jtLzs9UtzgU?t=6m34s) - they chose to take a risk and it paid off.

I was a little late in getting into GA. I didn't properly listen to their stuff until 2005, thanks to this community! But, yes! I wish they would have tried to make it as a group in America.

The Show is my favourite Girls Aloud single! It's so bonkers and so Girls Aloud. It's a shame the more standard pop Love Machine was more of of a hit but it's easy to see why.
