 VS  Thought it would be interesting to compare these two albums - they are obviously very different to eachother in many ways but quite similar as well especially when comparing each of them to Rudebox. So which album do you prefer? Vote and then compare the tracks seeing as they both have the same amount (although obviously the brilliant bonus track Arizona had to be left off). Both serious albums although in different ways - IC is alot more guitar driven while RKTVS is more on the electro side especially with Bodies, Weirdos and Disco (and obviously Arizona). Vs Advertising Space Last Days Of Disco Vs Please Don't Die Somewhere Vs Your Gay Friend Deceptacon Vs Sin Sin Sin Starstruck Vs Random Acts Of Kindness Difficult For Weirdos Vs The Trouble With Me Superblind Vs A Place To Crash Won't Do That Vs King Of Bloke And Bird For me: Ghosts Tripping MMP Blasphemy Advertising Space Disco Somewhere Deceptacon Random Difficult APTC King Of Bloke IC - 7 RKTVS - 5 Very suprising really - I prefer RKTVS overall as an album but obviously when each track is compared like that IC wins  I was only listening to IC for the firs time in ages the other day - I had almost forgot what a cracking album it is - such brilliant lyrics (Random Acts in particular)and vocals and the production is excellent - an excellent complete album - and as Neil McCormick said it is like a complete piece of work by a singer-songwriter as oppose to a pop albums with 3 or 4 big singles and the rest filler. RKTVS is the same in many ways tbh. Some of the tracks were really close - especially the lead single Tripping and Bodies - both very differnt styles to the rest of the respective albums but I love them both and tbh tomorrow I'd prob pick Bodies as I love it more and more and it is stuck in my head more now than ever.  But Trippin wins today otherwise it wouldve been a tie.

Yeah no live performance of it sadly. Some great lyrics though.
My fave lines being  Oh, the words I have repressed Are coming out today I guess It is justice not respect I'm after And that just leaves contempt |

Deceptacon Vs Sin Sin Sin Starstruck Vs Random Acts Of Kindness Difficult For Weirdos Vs The Trouble With Me Superblind Vs A Place To Crash Won't Do That Vs King Of Bloke And Bird I voted 3/3 for IC but it is a little better in all fields. |
