Sad isn’t it
I read earlier that his daughter was on the helicopter with him, although I can’t find the article now |

Sad isn’t it I read earlier that his daughter was on the helicopter with him, although I can’t find the article now I've seen conflicting the reports, the only thing that looks to be certain is the owner himself was on the helicopter. Awful tragedy, there are so many bad football owners out there these days but this owner looks like he has not only done the football club, but also the city itself so much good as well. |

Horrible news to hear, the owner did a lot of good to the community and the fans as.well. Leicester City winning the Premier League is one of the great moments in sport.

I wonder why there's been no news on if there's been any deaths?

I wonder why there's been no news on if there's been any deaths? Probably a few reasons. I suspect a lot of it is to do with notifying next of kin, plus don't forget the huge ramifications of the King Power business too. It can majorly affect the stock market. Literally zero information has been released, not even trickets of how many passengers were on-board etc. Looks like we will hear something tomorrow no doubt. |

I can only echo what others have said, that this is a terrible tragedy. I really hope somehow that miraculously there are no fatalities but it's very unlikely that anyone would have survived that crash. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha's legacy will never be forgotten and I thank him for helping to contribute towards that amazing 2015/16 Premier League season which is my all time favourite Premier League season in terms of how entertaining it was even as a non Leicester fan.

Confirmed by Leicester City that Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was among the five people who died in the helicopter crash.

I noticed that, from what I was able to watch on telly here in the US between different errands I was tending to, some of the players of the 3 matches today were wearing black arm bands, which I'm gathering was out of respects to those who passed from the Leicester City ownership in the crash.....sad news indeed.....my condolences to the families involved...

Heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking. My condolences to the family of all 5 of the deceased. By all accounts they were all well loved people living their best life.
Accounts from the club, players, fans and people of Leicester universally speak of his generosity, charity, kind spirit how genuinely nice he was. His legacy and values will stand the test of time, a mark of a truly good person. |
