Beleaguered R&B singer R. Kelly was denied bail Wednesday in his New York City sex-abuse case after a judge agreed with prosecutors that freeing him from jail would create a risk of him fleeing or tampering with witnesses. U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly denied a defense motion asking to release him on bond and allow home detention. She set a May 18 trial date.

Kodak Black has been sentenced to 46 months in prison after pleading guilty to weapons charges.
The 22-year-old, who had a US number one album last December, admitted falsifying information on background forms to buy four guns. He was arrested before his set at Miami's Rolling Loud festival in May. |

J Hus’s new album has been leaked. Some decent looking features on there including Jorja Smith, Koffee, Ella Mai & Burna Boy.
The album didn’t even have a release date but it’s all over Twitter so I guess they might have to rush release it soon. |

Today's story is that Kanye West is now officially a billionaire according to Forbes. Only a couple of years after begging to Mark Zuckerberg claiming he was poorer than everyone because he was $53 million dollars in debt, the success of Yeezys has valued him at about $1.3 billion dollars. |

I can finally post some news about one of my favourite artists and have it be relevent!
American rapper and poet George Watsky is currently attempting to break the World Record for the longest continuous freestyle. The record is 33 hours and he has currently been going for 22 hours. He's allowed to have a 5 minute break every hour but he's only just about to have his first one. |
