So a Christmas single is definitely coming. And to get word out there/make everyone aware:

No way! I love Dawes! In fact I met them in September when they performed at my old school/uni
The lead singer has SUCH a nice voice (and the band's harmonies are excellent!) so it'll be interesting to hear how it blends with Brandon's vocals. The Killers Christmas songs are usually hit-and-miss for me but I'm looking forward to this one, for sure

10 A Great Big Sled 08 Don't Shoot Me Santa 10 Joseph, Better You Than Me 11 Happy Birthday Guadalupe 08 Boots 08 The Cowboys' Christmas Ball 06 I Feel It in My Bones Guadalupe was their last one I properly loved. Boots has amazing verses but the chorus is disappointing, Cowboys is just cute and I Feel It in My Bones is boring. I hope this one is great! |

Don't shoot me santa and a Great Big Sled are the ones I've heard and they both are fantastic so anything on that wavelength will do for me.

The ones i love from the Killers xmas collection are ones that sound like Read my Mind basically,, they have an xmassy feel. So Boots, Feel it in my Bones & Great Big Sled!

Also i would love them to finish of another christas song or two and release a Christmas album as they have so many original Christmas songs it would be nice to have them all on one official album. |

A Great Big Sled is wonderful and remains one of my favourite Killers songs, even though it does sound like it's trying to hard to bridge the gap between Hot Fuss and Sam's Town.
The rest I can take or leave - although Don't Shoot Me Santa is a lot of fun - but I look forward to this. |

It's now on iTunes for 79p! Top 100 already so hopefully with it being at the beginning of the week it'll have an impact on the official charts.
This song is beautiful. It's different to what I was expecting! But it's delivered for me

I really like the new song and ive only listened once - its a slow starter but the lyrics to white christmas at the end is class!! Wish there was a female vocalist though - woulda made it better!

Bet they only play the video on vh1 xmas shuffle on occassion & mtv rocks. But even on mtv rocks the new video they were playing all day yesterday was the new Killers track off the greatest hits!.
Do you think the appearence on the XF final will have an effect on the xmas single? It would be hilarious if they performed it as a shock! |
