Rita Ora is rumoured to be replacing Kylie next series - I can't say I would particularly mind her but I'm sure many people on here will have something to say about that. Whoever the judges happen to be next year, I hope the gender imbalance is finally sorted out.

I don't mind her actually, she was good on X Factor! That was obviously just a small dose though, she may be annoying after a while but we'll see. I bet she leaves her album until then Although with the bitter Calvin split she probably has to re-do lots of it anyway as a lot of tracks were written/produced by him!
Still, I saw a rumour for Rochelle Humes ghe other day So it could be worse! |

Appropriate signing considering Rita herself is essentially just a 'voice'/vessel for the basic, faceless music she peddles (IWNLYD aside cos tune ).
In all seriousness, I can't see The Voice getting the boost in relevance it desperately needs on the strength of Rita's name. Much like Jessie, she's too early into her career to have any sort of 'credibility' as a coach and also seems like she could get irritating very quickly. |

A bit of a disappointing choice following Kylie but I do like Rita Ora, contrary to many on here. I'm glad that the other three have stayed though, it would definitely seem 'iffy' if for two consecutive seasons there had been a mass line-up change *cough* X Factor.

I'm glad Ricky Wilson is staying but I would have been happy to see will.i.am go.

How dreadful. Getting Jessie J back would even be a much better idea. This woman has almost no voice herself which I guess is an insult often thrown at Kylie but in this case it's actually true. Coupled with the fact she came across as an annoying non personality on X Factor this doesn't bode well.

Still wishing Adele would sign up as she would be PERFECT - charisma, likeable and most importantly the VOICE.

Going to watch purely for the entertainment factor now. No point in getting behind contestants as a star will never have the support to be a success, nevermind actually being voted the winner. |

I do enjoy The Voice - it's a shame it can't produce any successful artists after the show though. I don't see why Leah McFall, Tyler James and Becky Hill aren't big artists. They were all super talented and unique.

Won't be watching. Cba investing so much time into a series which can't be bothered promoting their winners at ALL. I mean, wtf happened to last years winner?

I think I've said this before and I've certainly seen others say it, but what I really don't understand is why Radio 1 don't even support the winners or any of the acts most of the time, if ever It's like they only view it as an entertainment show themselves, they can't expect the contestants to experience success if they won't play gem on their own radio station! You'd think they'd want to do what they could to push the winners at least.

Same here, it's just going to be something to watch on a Saturday now. I'm not going to have any expectations of commercial success It's weird through, around the world The Voice contestants rarely seem to do much I've noticed... From the US version, the biggest hit they've had since the first series (the winning single got top 20 then I think) is a #37 which was Cassadee Pope. And the albums rarely sell anything! Even though in the US they get high ratings iirc. |

That's kinda shocking to me I always hear of such huge ratings for the US version so that's actually surprising The season 3 winner had a top 10 album and the season 4 winner's scraped top 20, but aside from that I don't think any of the albums even made top 40 iirc! Both of those did well because country radio supported the singles, so it's a similar problem to here I guess. They get enough support from the public to win, but none from the media to keep them in the public eye so people just ignore or don't hear about the music. But if it gets them good ratings, I guess the channels won't care |

no offense guys, but what do young people see in this show?
it's like a slightly off x factor with no success stories |
