I don't think it's a rule that she has to resign as leader (although she did have to be an MP to have been elected one), but I couldn't see how she could lead the party if she's no longer in the Commons. Of course, there's still the possibility she holds on to her seat. I think she'll hang on actually now. |

I would, but I've got my work's Christmas party on election night (yay).
I do have the next morning off to deal with the hangover and weep over the result if it's as bad as I fear though. |

They might have a TV on in the background as its election night.
My wife is being a real pain about taking Friday off now because she is going on her work do in the evening so will be home all afternoon and doesn't want me there while she gets ready. She's warned me not to take the day off but what if at 10pm its no overall majority - there's no way ill be able to go to bed before 4am and then my work day will be the worst ever. I'm tempted to phone in sick and then make myself scarce at midday and head into town and dander about there but then what if someone from work see me Oh why are woman so annoying!!! |

Probably not but I’ll wake up earlier than usual to see the result.
Definitely feel Conservatives will get it though. |

Still no sleep since getting up yesterday morning so I'm feeling quite tired now.

I ended up waking up stressed, posting, and then going back to sleep, rinse and repeat.
