They were pretty decent on SNT tonight! God I really hope the new album is just straight up high quality re-recordings of their old stuff, I *need* ‘Crashed the Wedding’ in their ‘Half Way There’ style.

I enjoyed their Saturday Night Takeaway performance. I never realised how much of a natural performer Matt actually is. Charlie and James can come across quite awkward on these types of shows but Matt just looks like he’s enjoying every second. I do think they should have really had the album up for pre order with all the promotion they have been doing to get a few extra sales.

Well they do say that nostalgia comes around in 20 year cycles! I imagine it’ll be back to lower numbers for whenever their next tour is in a few years, but the numbers are great to see now.

Did Charlie ever say what changed his mind about returning to Busted?
I used to be a researcher for MTV News team in Camden and Charlie's band was interviewed once (and performed), and they of course asked Charlie if he would ever consider a return to Busted and he laughed (along with the rest of the band) and said not in million years. He was actually really rude off camera to everyone who wasn't Laura Whitmore. |
