Viral hit alert. And not a good one at that... new Soulja Boy. Relevant: New Soulja Boy perhaps but 'Hot Nigga' is a million times better than anything Soulja Boy ever released. And so is this which I hope can give him a second hit (probably won't tho as he does have strong one hit wonder vibes): ALSO, his upcoming EP is called 'Shmurda She Wrote' so that's quite amaze. |

It's rumoured that the US have just implemented (and will apply from the next chart) the ineligible instant grats rule that we have in the UK, however it is yet to be confirmed by Billboard as far as I know. Hopefully it is only a rumour as I want Taylor to get another top 10!

QUOTE Looks like Capitol’s Sam Smith has another winner in “I’m Not the Only One,” the week’s biggest gainer with +131% as it went #48-13 on 58k units. Interestingly, “Stay With Me” picked up an Indian summery 8% in its 29th week.

Fergie grabbing that smash.
Is that Robbie Williams highest-charting single? |

I've found the article: http://www.thatericalper.com/2014/09/18/it...can-u-s-canada/
If true, does that suggest that people who bought 'Out of the Woods' separately (and have not pre-ordered the album) will still have their sales counted? |

Having read the article, it seems that it's iTunes that have instigated this? So yes, tracks sold individually will count. But if you've pre-ordered the album and you get the track free, it won't count. So it WILL impact Taylor. |

Yes it is the problem we have I believe, so I'm not sure. I guess we'll find out in next week's chart to see what is eligible and what isn't.

Yes it is the problem we have I believe, so I'm not sure. I guess we'll find out in next week's chart to see what is eligible and what isn't. It's actually worse than the UK because if (for example) a new Britney album appeared today on iTunes for pre-order with an instant grat, and her fans rushed out and pre-ordered the album, none of those sales will count to the Hot 100. Only those who buy the track on its own will count. |
